I just got mine last week and honestly I just leave it running until the water runs out. No issues so far, it just shuts off on its own when it’s empty.
Pretty normal for rubber to break in a little after daily use, I wouldn’t sweat it unless it actually starts leaking. Mine’s been fine for a couple months and the seal still feels tight enough when I close it.
Good to know it’s not a hassle. Sounds like it’s flexible enough to just get shoved in wherever without fuss. I’ll stop overthinking it and just grab one.
I’d say it’s fine for basic stuff. The default scroll wheel and clicks work well enough for office tasks. You might miss the side button customization if you’re used to it, but for just clicking around and scrolling, I think it’s fine.
I’ve only ever used mine with the repellent off and just as a light, so I can’t really speak to that exact runtime. But for what it’s worth, on the lowest brightness without the repellent it lasts way longer than that for me. Sounds like the repellent is just a bigger drain than most people think.
I mean, it’s a speaker clip, not a climbing carabiner. It’s bigger than the old one, so it hooks onto stuff fine. Kind of feels like people are making it more complicated than it needs to be.
I’d probably just make sure it’s not sitting right next to the shower stream and call it a day. Most of these plug-in heaters are pretty sealed up inside anyway.
Honestly, I’d just grab a broom for the big piles and use the blower for the rest. That 15-minute runtime is enough to hit the corners and workbench, just not the whole floor at once.
I’d say it’s probably fine unless the wind is really kicking. I figure the UV light still attracts bugs, they just might take a second longer to get to it in a breeze. Doesn’t sound like a dealbreaker to me.
Low speed is basically just for light dust like you said. I pretty much only use high and it handles the baked-on stuff without much fuss.
I’d say go for it. I used it on a dark grey car and it handled the light scuffs around the door handle pretty well. Color doesn’t really change how the cloth works.
I use mine for quick calls in a couple of languages and haven’t had any major issues with the flow. The only thing I notice is that if I’m walking around outside, wind noise can mess with the translation a bit. But for sitting at a desk or in a quiet room, they’re totally fine.
I’d probably just give it a try. Most of these retro sticks are designed to work with whatever screen you plug them into, so it should be fine.
Honestly, I just try to wipe it off as soon as I notice it and it’s usually fine. The plastic just seems to hold onto it a bit longer than paint does.
I think the main thing is just whether the car starts knocking or not. If it’s been running regular this long without any weird sounds, I’d probably just keep doing that and save the cash. Might lose a bit of pep on the highway but for a daily commute it’s probably not something you’d really notice.
I’d guess it’s probably just random phases. I’ve had weeks where I’m up at 3am for no reason and then it stops as suddenly as it started. Cutting caffeine after noon never did much for me either.
I just used it on my black SUV last weekend and no haze at all. I sprayed it on a microfiber, not directly on the panel, and buffed it off right away. Might be down to how you apply it more than the paint color.
I kinda skipped the cheap yellow ones and went straight for the PolorVision. The contrast thing is there but it’s not like a huge wow moment, just helps a bit on darker roads. For the price difference I’d say it’s worth it if you drive a lot at night.
I’d say the 8 hours is more like a best case scenario if you’re just letting it sit idle. Once you actually have a few devices connected and browse around, it drops a bit. Still lasts me most of a day on the road though, which is fine for what it is.
I sleep pretty warm in general but I haven’t noticed any heat issues with mine. It’s definitely not going to feel like an ice pack or anything, but it doesn’t get that swampy feeling my old cheap foam pillow did.
I’ve had left-behind alerts on since I got mine and honestly I haven’t noticed it dying any faster. Still seems to last months between charges to me, so I wouldnt worry too much about it.
I think it’s pretty normal honestly, mine seems to change up a bit depending on the flow too but still gets the job done for what I need it for.
I don’t really think about it that much honestly. It just kind of sits there when I use it, doesn’t get in my way or help much. I can see why some people might find it annoying though.
I think it’s just one of those features that works okay-ish but isn’t perfect. Mine blocks stuff on some sites but definitely not all, so I wouldn’t say it’s a big deal either way. Just kind of there.
