I’ve had my Hewelth UVClean for about a month now and it’s been working fine for daily use at the office. But I noticed the rubber seal around the cap feels a bit softer than when I first got it. Anyone else notice this or is it just me? Not really a big deal yet, just wondering if I should keep an eye on it.

Had mine for about two months now and the rubber seal still feels fine to me. Maybe yours just settled in a bit. I’d keep an eye on it but not stress too much unless it starts leaking.

I mean, a rubber seal getting a little soft after a month sounds pretty normal to me. Probably just the material warming up from daily use. Unless it’s actually leaking or the cap doesn’t click shut anymore, I wouldn’t worry about it.

It’s rubber. It’s gonna change a bit with use and cleaning. If it still seals and doesn’t leak, I wouldn’t overthink it.

I haven’t noticed much softening on mine, but I also tend to only use it with cold water so maybe that helps. Still seals fine when I toss it in my bag though.
