Thinking about picking up NanoPolix for some light scuffs on my dark blue SUV. Most of the before/after pics I see are on lighter cars. Anyone used it on a darker finish and actually noticed a difference?

I’ve got a dark gray car and used it on some light scuffs near the door handle. It didn’t make them vanish completely, but it definitely toned them down enough that I don’t notice them unless I’m really looking. Worth a try for the price.

I used it on a dark blue sedan and it did a decent job on the light scuffs around the rear bumper. Not a miracle worker but the marks were definitely less noticeable after. I’d say it’s worth trying for what it costs.

I’ve got a dark red car and tried it on some scuffs from a shopping cart. It didn’t erase them totally but they’re way less noticeable now, especially from a few feet away. I was a little skeptical at first but it did more than I expected.

I wouldn’t overthink the color thing too much. It’s basically a fancy microfiber cloth with some polish in it, so it’s going to do the same job regardless of whether your paint is dark or light.

I’ve got a dark blue car and gave it a try on some scuffs. I’d say it helped a bit, but it’s not like they completely disappeared. Hard to tell if it really did much or if I’m just seeing what I want to see.

It’s a cloth with some polish, color doesn’t really matter. Probably fine.

I’d say go for it. I used it on a dark grey car and it handled the light scuffs around the door handle pretty well. Color doesn’t really change how the cloth works.

I’ve got a dark blue SUV too and tried it on some scuffs from a tree branch. Honestly, I was kind of expecting more after all the hype, but it did knock down the worst of it. Color didn’t seem to matter much, it just didn’t work miracles. Still sitting here wondering if I should’ve just gone with a polish instead.

I’d just try it and see. On darker paint it’s not gonna be magic, but for light scuffs it should knock them down enough to not catch your eye every time. Works fine for that.

I think dark paint hides imperfections better than light paint in general, so even if the cloth doesn’t fully erase everything, the improvement should be more noticeable. Probably worth a shot if the price is alright.

I think I actually prefer how it works on darker paint, not totally sure why. Maybe it just blends the small stuff in better than on lighter colors where every little mark stands out.

I’ve got a dark blue car and honestly the color didn’t seem to matter much for me. The cloth just knocked down the light scuffs enough that I don’t notice them unless I’m really looking. I wasn’t expecting a miracle, but it did the job for what it is.

From what I’ve seen dark colors tend to hide stuff better anyway, so it probably works fine. I’d just give it a shot and see if it takes the edge off those scuffs.

I mean, darker paint does hide minor stuff better in general, so even if the cloth doesn’t totally erase a scuff, it’s probably less visible after.

I haven’t tried it on a dark blue car myself, but from what I’ve seen darker finishes usually hide the little stuff better anyway. If the scuffs are light it’ll probably knock them down enough to not bother you.
