I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I leave mine plugged in all the time and my car starts fine even after a weekend trip. The motion detection really doesn’t pull that much power.
I usually run mine on high right from the start and the baked-on stuff comes off way easier after a quick spray of water. Low is basically just for a light touch up.
Coming from a blurry toy drone camera, the Black Falcon is legit a big step up. I take mine on road trips and just toss it in the glovebox, super handy for quick shots at rest stops and stuff. The 4K looks solid for casual travel videos, not going to win any awards but way better than the fuzzy mess I was getting before.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much, plastic trim just shows every little thing. I’ve had similar streaks on my car’s trim with other products too, not just NuraFix. It’s one of those things you only notice if you’re staring at it up close.
I guess it depends how much you care about a perfect dry. For a quick blast after a wash it’s fine, I’ve used mine to get the door sills and it works well enough.
Yeah that’s pretty much what I figured, just wanted to see if it was normal. Guess I’ll just stick closer to the setup next time. Thanks for the replies.
I mean, musty smell after water sits overnight is kind of expected with any evaporative cooler, not sure why it would be a big surprise. I just dump mine if I know I won’t be using it for a while and it’s fine.
I’d say it depends on how cold your room gets. I used mine in a similar sized space and it took the edge off, but I wouldn’t call it toasty or anything. Fine for taking the chill out when you’re just hanging out in there.
Mine’s been plugged in for about a month and honestly, I don’t notice anything different either. The light is on, so I just assume it’s doing whatever it’s supposed to do.
Honestly, I’ve thrown mine in a duffel bag a few times and could still hear it from a couple rooms away. Not gonna blast through a concrete wall, but for a thin card it does the job well enough.
I’ve had mine on a pretty low nightstand and it stays where I set it. The tilt isn’t super aggressive but it’s enough for me. I wouldn’t worry too much unless you’re trying to point it straight up at the ceiling.
Not totally sure it’s worth getting just for that. I messed with one of the built-in games on mine once and it was fine for like 5 minutes but I wouldn’t call it a real feature.
I haven’t used mine long enough at night to really tell if the LED does much, but I kinda like that it glows. Makes it easier to spot where I stuck it in the garden.
I haven’t timed mine either, but I mostly use it with the crevice nozzle for car cup holders and it seems to last long enough for that. I kind of assumed the brush would drain it faster just because it has more resistance or something. Not really an issue for me since I only do short bursts anyway.
Honestly, I think people overthink it. I’d just put it wherever it’s not gonna get knocked over and call it a day.
I think it should be okay. My folks have a pretty old TV and Flixy worked right out of the box for them. The picture wasn’t super sharp but it did the job for casual watching.
I haven’t tried them myself yet but I’m curious about the streetlight part too. A friend mentioned they helped a bit with the harsh white lights in his area but he wasn’t sure if it was placebo or not. I might just grab a pair and see for myself.
I wouldn’t overthink it. If it blocks 13.56 MHz then yeah it’s going to stop NFC tags too since they run on the same frequency. Most people don’t need to worry about that anyway.
I think people overthink the hub thing a bit. For just turning off a lamp from the couch, Bluetooth works fine and is way simpler. I wouldn’t bother with a hub unless you start wanting a ton of lights or fancy schedules.
I skimmed this and honestly I wouldn’t worry about it. Mine flickers sometimes too and it still works fine for me.
I kinda like that the scent is not super strong honestly. I threw a couple in my car and it keeps it smelling decent without being overwhelming. Not totally sure how well it works for rodents but the smell is fine for me.
I think mine feels about the same honestly. Not super hot, just kind of a gentle warmth. I wouldn’t say it’s doing anything wrong, just maybe not as strong as some people expect.
I disagree, the UV seemed to help with the stale smell after a few runs. Only real annoyance is bulky sweaters take ages to dry.
I’ve got one and battery life is legitimately good for travel, about a week for me. Haven’t done a strict comparison with a meter, but the glucose numbers on the watch don’t line up with my finger-prick readings a few times. Small practical thing: wearing it a bit snug seems to make the sensors behave more consistently.
Some good points but I’m not convinced the extra stuff is worth the hassle yet, so I’ll keep using the old pack and maybe look for a simple upgrade later.
