Just plugged in my SynGas yesterday and noticed a tiny hesitation when accelerating from a stop. Not sure if that’s the device learning or something else. Anyone else get that during the first few miles?

I didn’t really notice any hesitation myself, but I also wasn’t paying super close attention at first. Probably just overthinking it if it’s barely noticeable.

I’d guess it’s just the learning period doing its thing. I tend to notice every little change when I first install something too, but that usually fades after a bit of driving. If it’s really tiny, I’d probably just give it a week and see.

I’d just give it a little time. The learning period is supposed to take a while so a tiny hesitation at first seems pretty normal.

It’s probably just the learning period. 150 miles before it figures out how you drive is a long time to smooth out. I’d just drive it normally and see if it goes away.

I’d probably just drive it for a week and see if it goes away before worrying about it. Most of these little OBD2 things need some time to settle in.

Mine did it a bit too, stopped after a couple days. I wouldn’t overthink it, these things just take a minute to settle in. Probably not worth worrying about unless it gets worse.

I think it’s probably nothing. Mine had a little oddness at first too but it sorted itself out pretty quick.

Mine felt a little off right after installing too, but it smoothed out by the end of the week. Probably just sorting itself out.

Eh, probably nothing. Mine did something similar for the first day or two and then it just went away on its own. I’d just forget about it and see if it’s still there after a few more drives.

Honestly, mine did the same thing. Felt like a little lag right off the line. I just ignored it and it went away after a few days.

Pretty common with these plug-in devices while they figure out your driving style. I wouldn’t worry about it.
