Thinking about picking up a DrFlexa for my knee when I’m on my feet a lot at work. Not sure how tight to make the straps for it to actually work right. Anyone got a feel for this?

Honestly I don’t overthink it that much. I just tighten mine until it feels snug but not like it’s cutting off circulation, and adjust if it slips during the day. You’ll figure it out after wearing it a couple times, it’s not that delicate.

I just put mine on until it feels like it’s actually doing something, then back it off just a hair. You’ll know if it’s too tight after wearing it for an hour.

I’m still on the fence about getting one, but the fit seems like the main thing to get right. Too loose and it probably just slides around all day.

I just put mine on until it feels secure without being annoying. Too tight and you’ll hate it by lunch, too loose and it’s basically a leg warmer.

Straps should be snug enough that it doesn’t slide down your leg when you bend your knee. If you have to yank it back up after a few steps, that’s too loose. I just tighten mine so it feels secure but not digging in.

I just tighten mine until it stays put when I walk around. Too much and it gets annoying after a few hours.

I’ve got one and it was pretty easy to figure out. Just snug enough so it doesn’t move around when you bend your leg, but not cranked down tight. Works fine for me during a full shift.

Makes sense. I’d rather have it slightly loose than deal with a sore spot all shift.

I usually just go by feel when I’m standing still and then do a quick bend of the knee to see if it shifts. If it stays put after a few squats you’re probably in the right zone.

I just put mine on and adjusted it until it felt stable when I moved around. Honestly I don’t overthink it too much.

The silicone strips on the inside are actually what keep it in place more than the straps themselves. I found if I crank the straps too tight it just bunches up the fabric and makes it less comfortable. I keep them medium snug and let the grip do the work.

Tight enough that it doesn’t slide down when you walk. Overthinking it isn’t worth it, just adjust as you go.

I don’t think you need to overthink it, just put it on snug enough that it stays put. Works fine for me.

Honestly I don’t think it’s that deep. I just put mine on snug enough that it doesn’t flop around when I walk and called it a day. Works fine for me.

I think you can feel it out pretty quick once you have it on. I just put mine on and did a few steps around the house to see if it stayed in place. Works fine for me without having to adjust it a bunch.

I just put mine on, adjusted the straps until it felt snug but not digging in, and went from there. Works fine for me.

People make too big a deal out of this. I just put mine on so it’s snug and not flopping around. Crank it too tight and it’s just uncomfortable for no reason.
