I picked one up a few weeks ago and it’s fine for my desk. Not a huge blast of air but I can definitely feel it, more than my old bladeless one did. Maybe it depends on how close you sit.
It’s fine for carry-on. I just toss it in the front pocket of my backpack and don’t really notice it.
Honestly, I think people overthink it. I’ve just got one in the hallway and one near the kitchen, and that’s been fine for years. If you’re not burning toast every morning, it’s probably not a big deal.
I think a snug fit is pretty normal with boil-and-bite stuff. Usually after a few nights your mouth gets used to it and it feels a lot less tight.
There’s definitely a motion sensitivity setting in the app, but it’s kind of buried. I messed with mine and it helped cut down on the car alerts without killing it completely.
I put some in my shed and noticed the same thing, but I think it still kept the mice away even after the smell seemed to fade for me. Maybe our noses just get used to it faster than the rodents do.
I wouldn’t overthink the light. Mine does the same jumping around but the actual connection has been solid. As long as things load fine on your devices I’d just leave it where you put it and move on.
I think I get around 5-6 hours on medium brightness with SNES stuff, which seemed fine for my train rides. Not really into fighting games so I can’t help there, but the TV output was pretty straightforward when I tried it.
I used mine on a few long flights and the battery held up better than I expected. The case charging makes a big difference if you remember to pop them back in between uses. Offline mode worked fine for basic stuff, but it’s not something I’d rely on in a really loud spot. Overall they’re pretty solid for what they are.
Honestly I wouldn’t worry too much about the plastic thing. I’ve been zapping my keyboard for a few months now and haven’t noticed any damage.
Probably just that center-wear humming, I think it’s more annoying than an immediate emergency. One simple thing to check is the rear tire pressure, being a few psi off can change noise and wear. Maybe let it slide for a bit if you need to, not totally sure though.
Seven-day battery life sounds great, but I’m skeptical most people will actually hit that with nonstop health tracking and lots of notifications. Maybe possible if you mostly use basic watch functions though.
