I’ve been looking at the Glokore Filtered Showerhead for a while now since our water is pretty hard and leaves that weird film on everything. The description says it helps with chlorine and sediment but I’m wondering if anyone here noticed a difference with hard water specifically. I know it says hard water minerals might not be completely removed, but does it help at all or is it more just for chlorine? Just trying to figure out if it’s worth trying.

Ive had mine for a couple months now and honestly for the price it does a decent job. The water definitely feels softer on my skin but I wouldnt say it completely fixes the hard water film on fixtures or anything. Its more of a noticeable difference for chlorine smell and how my hair feels after washing. Worth trying if you just want something quick and easy to install without a whole house system.

I think people expect too much from a showerhead filter when it comes to hard water. It’s not a water softener. You’d need a whole house system for that. This thing is more for the chlorine and maybe catching some rust flakes so your skin doesn’t feel as dry. The film is probably still gonna show up on your glass.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s that deep. I got one mostly because I hated the chlorine smell, and it does help with that. The hard water stuff is whatever, I didn’t really notice a huge difference with the spots on my glass, but it’s fine for what it is.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, that helps a lot. Sounds like it won’t solve the hard water completely, but it might make the shower feel a bit nicer, which is probably worth trying anyway. I think I’ll give it a shot and see how it goes.
