I’m thinking about trying the SleepZee but I’m wondering if the boil-and-bite fit is supposed to feel pretty tight when you first put it in. Does it loosen up after a few nights or is that just how it stays?

Huh, mine felt pretty snug right after molding too but it loosened up a bit after a few nights. Not a ton, but enough that it stopped feeling weird. I wouldn’t overthink it.

Mine was pretty tight after the boil-and-bite too. It loosened up a bit after a few nights, but it never got super loose. I think some tightness is just part of how it works.

Mine was tight too. I just left it in for a few minutes each night rather than forcing it all night and it settled down after maybe a week. Still snug, but not painful or anything.

Mine was pretty tight the first couple of nights. I just wore it for a bit before bed to get used to it, and it loosened up enough to be fine after that.

I’d probably just stick with it for a few nights and see how it goes. Most of these boil-and-bite things feel a bit snug at first but they usually settle in. If it’s still super tight after a week, then I’d start worrying.

Honestly, I wouldn’t say it loosens up much. It stays pretty snug, which is kind of the point so it doesn’t fall out. A little tightness the first few nights is normal, but it should feel secure not painful. If it’s really digging in, you might need to remold it.

Mine stayed pretty snug too. I figured that’s just how it’s supposed to fit so it doesn’t slide around at night. If it’s uncomfortably tight after a few tries I’d probably remold it.

I think a snug fit is pretty normal with boil-and-bite stuff. Usually after a few nights your mouth gets used to it and it feels a lot less tight.

I think that tight feeling is pretty standard for boil-and-bite stuff. It loosens up a little, but mostly you just get used to it after a few nights.

Alright, thanks for the input everyone. Sounds like the tightness is just part of the process. I’ll probably give it a shot and see how the adjustment goes after a few nights.

Mine felt tight at first too. I think it eases up a bit after a few nights once the material softens from your mouth heat. Not totally sure, but it stopped bugging me after day three.

I’d say tightness is pretty normal with these boil-and-bite things. Most mouthpieces feel snug until your mouth gets used to them. I think it usually loosens up a bit after a few nights, nothing to worry about.

It felt tight for me the first night too, but it settled in after a couple of uses. I wouldn’t say it loosens up a ton, but your mouth gets used to it. Worked fine for me after that.

I remember mine feeling pretty snug at first, but I think that’s kind of the point with the boil and bite. It did loosen up a little over a few nights, but it never got super loose or anything. I wouldn’t say it bothered me after the first couple tries though.

Mine was pretty tight at first too, but I honestly think that’s just how the boil and bite is supposed to feel. It loosened up just a tiny bit after a few nights, but it never got super loose or anything. Kinda felt like it was doing its job, even if it wasn’t the most comfy thing ever.

Honestly, the tightness is pretty normal at first. It loosens up a bit after a few nights as the material settles to your mouth. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it’s actually painful.

I think it’s pretty normal, maybe even expected. Mine felt snug at first but after a few nights it settled in and felt fine. I wouldn’t really worry about it unless it’s actually painful.

Yeah, that tight feeling is pretty standard with boil-and-bite stuff. It should loosen up a bit after a few nights as the material molds to your mouth. If it stays too tight after that, you might have molded it wrong.

Honestly, I think that tight feeling is pretty standard for boil-and-bite stuff. It’s not supposed to be loose, or it wouldn’t hold your jaw in place. If it stays annoyingly tight after a few nights, that’s more of a problem than just the initial fit.
