I just throw mine on low and let it run. It’s barely noticeable on the bill, and I like having the air moving even when it’s not blasting.
I usually just stick with the wide setting for most of the siding. I tried the concentrated stream on some mossy spots near the foundation, and it seemed to knock it off okay without blasting the vinyl too hard.
I skimmed through the replies and honestly you’ll probably be fine if the couch isn’t way across the room. The IR isn’t amazing but for spotting a dog on furniture it should do the job. I’d just try it and see, worst case you move it closer.
I tossed a couple in my RV just to see what would happen and I haven’t noticed any mouse evidence since, so I guess that’s something. Hard to say if it’s the pouches or just luck though.
I think they stay on okay for neck use as long as you’re not doing anything too wild. I’ve worn mine while just watching TV and it didn’t budge, but I wouldn’t count on it staying put if you’re moving around a lot. The heat function is nice though, makes the pads feel a bit more secure.
It works fine for basic office stuff out of the box. I use mine on Fedora and the scroll wheel and basic buttons all work without any extra software. You really only miss the custom profiles if you need specific button remapping.
It’s not that serious honestly. I just swap mine when I remember or when the water starts tasting a little flat, which is usually way past four weeks. Works fine for me.
Mine’s got a little play in it too, I noticed it right away. Doesn’t seem to affect anything though, it still clicks through the speeds fine. Probably just the way they’re made.
I usually wait maybe 10-15 minutes because I’ve noticed the heart rate reading seems more stable if I’m not still half asleep. No idea if that actually makes a difference for the body fat stuff though.
High is definitely the way to go for that old stuff. I think the low setting is just for a quick once-over between cooks.
Battery seems to drain faster than I expected too, but I just charge it every couple days and haven’t had issues. Mine’s been through a few light rain walks and still works fine, so I wouldn’t stress too much about the splash resistance. The safe zone alerts have been pretty solid for me, usually pops up on my phone within a few seconds. Overall it’s been doing the job for my dog, so I’d say give it a bit more time.
I’d say it still pulls in some bugs on a breezy patio, just not as many as when the air is still. The light is bright enough to cut through a light wind, but if it’s gusty the bugs seem to get blown past before they land. Worked okay for me on a mildly windy evening, just don’t expect it to clear the whole yard.
Honestly, I had the opposite experience. I’ve got small fingers and I couldn’t get it to stay put. It kept spinning around on me, especially when my hands got a bit sweaty. The sensors seemed to work fine but I was just annoyed with the sliding.
500 mL is totally fine for desk use. I just keep a water bottle on my desk and top it off when I grab coffee or go to lunch, never had it run dry in the middle of the day. It’s not like it’s gonna freeze you out, but it makes the air feel less stale.
Should be fine with whatever Qi pad you’ve got. I wouldn’t overthink it, those cheap ones usually handle stuff like this no problem.
I’d just try it and see. Most of those mounts are pretty interchangeable even if they look a little different. The adapter that comes in the box should help if there’s a slight mismatch.
I’ve seen a few people mention the LED draining more than you’d think, and that kind of makes sense to me. Mine seems fine so far but I mostly just use it on normal mode for a minute or two. Not totally sure if yours is off or just how it goes.
Honestly I haven’t had any issues with mine and a regular hose. Screwed it on and it was fine, no drama. Might just depend on the specific hose end you have.
I mean, it’s a thin little card, so I wouldn’t expect it to blast like a phone speaker. Works fine for me when I need it, but I’m not shoving it deep into a stuffed bag.
I’d probably just keep using it and see how it goes. If you’re not noticing a big drain after a week, it’s probably fine for most people. Charging every few days isn’t that big of a deal anyway.
I think it’s just easier to hit the timer and not think about it. My old lamp needed a separate kitchen timer so I’d remember to turn it off, and I definitely forgot more than once. The ClairLite’s auto shutoff is more of a safety net than a time saver, but it’s nice not having to babysit it. You’re probably overthinking it.
I think it’s probably not a huge deal honestly. Mine seems to catch the main barks and that’s good enough for me. Maybe the quieter ones just aren’t meant to be picked up every time.
I’d say it’s probably fine unless the TV is ancient. We’ve got one hooked up to an old 720p set and it works well enough for streaming.
Honestly I don’t think it matters that much. I’ve had mine on since day one and it’s been fine so far. Might be a tiny bit less than the 5 months but nothing crazy.
I’ve had mine running on medium for a couple of afternoons and it held up fine. Never really timed it exactly, but it definitely got me through a few hours without hunting for the charger.
