I just used my Jetterix for the first time on some vinyl siding and wasn’t sure which spray pattern to stick with. The wide one seemed fine but I wondered if the concentrated stream is better for getting moss off. Anyone have a preference for siding?

I usually just stick with the wide setting for most of the siding. I tried the concentrated stream on some mossy spots near the foundation, and it seemed to knock it off okay without blasting the vinyl too hard.

I pretty much just leave mine on the wide setting the whole time. The concentrated stream felt like it might leave marks if I got too close.

Concentrated stream will definitely handle the moss better, just keep your distance so it doesn’t dig into the vinyl. I usually switch between the two depending on the spot.

I’m curious about this too. The wide setting seems safer, but I bet the concentrated stream would make quick work of moss. Maybe it depends on how dirty the siding really is.

Good to know I wasn’t the only one bouncing between settings. I pretty much did the same thing, wide for the easy stuff and the narrow stream for the mossy spots. No damage here either, so I’ll just keep doing that.
