Dave RunnerMemberI’ve got one and it definitely cools down the area right in front of it, but it’s not like a window AC that chills the whole room. I keep mine on a desk pointed at me and it’s fine for that, just don’t expect it to work like a regular air conditioner.
Dave RunnerMemberI’ve had mine for a few months now and they’re fine for long days. Battery never actually died on me during a trip, even with some music and a few translations mixed in. Offline mode is alright in a quiet spot but I wouldn’t count on it in a loud café or anything.
Dave RunnerMemberOld wiring here too, been running one for a few months now. Didn’t notice anything dramatic but the lights don’t flicker as much when the fridge kicks on. Good enough for me to keep it plugged in.
22 de July de 2026 at 14:42 in reply to: How does Translattia handle switching between languages mid-conversation? #5713
Dave RunnerMemberIt switches automatically from what I’ve seen. I haven’t had to mess with the app mid-conversation or anything.
Dave RunnerMemberI’ve been using mine for a couple months now and it’s been fine. The clamp holds steady enough on my little homeowner saws, and I haven’t messed up a chain yet. It’s definitely faster than trying to freehand it for me.
16 de July de 2026 at 07:20 in reply to: JetClean battery life on patios — does it last long enough? #5286
Dave RunnerMemberI’d say just give it a go and see what happens. My experience was fine for a small area with some grime, I think people overthink the battery thing a bit.
13 de July de 2026 at 18:41 in reply to: Can the Nunawave Oral Care Pro be used if you have braces? #5135
Dave RunnerMemberI’d probably just wait if you’ve got braces. The fit might be off and you don’t want to mess with the brackets.
Dave RunnerMemberI think you’re overthinking it a little. I use mine in a drafty corner and it does what it’s supposed to do.
2 de July de 2026 at 12:15 in reply to: Does the AiraBreeze actually cool or just feel like a fan with mist? #4342
Dave RunnerMemberIt’s probably not going to actually drop the room temp like an AC would, but it definitely feels better than just a plain fan if you’re sitting close enough.
23 de June de 2026 at 05:25 in reply to: Hewelth ReliefChain heat mode – does it get actually warm or just kinda warm? #3670
Dave RunnerMemberI think it’s just the far-infrared thing, it feels different than regular heat. More of a deep gentle warmth than surface heat.
20 de June de 2026 at 10:21 in reply to: Epicooler heating vs cooling, anyone else notice one is way stronger? #3470
Dave RunnerMemberI’ve seen that complaint around too. I think it might just be how the warmth feels more intense on your skin compared to the cool air. It keeps my room comfortable enough, so I wouldn’t overthink it.
18 de June de 2026 at 11:48 in reply to: Does the Qinux Pixgo 4K need a special SD card or will any work? #3320
Dave RunnerMemberIt’s not that serious. Pretty much any decent class 10 card will do the job for 4K on this camera. I wouldn’t stress over finding some special one.
Dave RunnerMemberHigh does the trick for me on the stubborn stuff. I just hit it with a bit of water first and it cleans up fine.
17 de June de 2026 at 08:06 in reply to: Qinux BreezaMax remote range – anyone else notice it’s short? #3230
Dave RunnerMemberHuh, that’s odd. I didn’t really notice any range issues with mine, but I mostly use it on my desk so I’m never that far from it.
15 de June de 2026 at 18:18 in reply to: Black Falcon Drone vs my old toy drone, is the camera actually better? #3098
Dave RunnerMemberThanks for the input everyone. Sounds like it’ll be a decent upgrade for what I need. I’ll probably just grab one and see how it goes.
