It’s a hose nozzle, not a saw. If you don’t hold it an inch away and leave it there, it’s not going to gouge the wood.
Probably loud enough. I’ve had mine in a packed tote bag and could hear it fine from across a coffee shop.
I’d guess the electricity use is pretty similar if the wattage is the same. The Epicooler’s heating probably just feels more noticeable since it’s a newer design.
Not sure why everyone’s saying no haze. I tried it on a dark car and it left a faint cloudy look in the sun. Had to hit it with a quick detailer to fix it.
Cheap yellow ones just cut blue light, that’s it. The PolorVision actually does something with contrast, but it’s not some magic fix. I’d say it’s worth trying if you’re actually bothered by glare, but don’t expect a huge transformation.
I mean, it’s a showerhead filter, not a water softener. If you’re expecting it to turn your hard water into bottled water you’re gonna be disappointed, but it does cut down on the chlorine smell a bit. The film on my shower door is still there, just maybe not as bad.
Pretty much what I figured. It’s not broken, just not magic. Good enough for me to stop second-guessing it.
There’s a slider in the motion settings for sensitivity. I turned mine down a bit and it stopped picking up every car light. Still catches the dog moving around just fine.
I think it’s probably fine to skip a few. I’ve got one in the hallway and that’s it, never had an issue. People act like your house is going to burn down if you don’t have ten of them, but mine works fine.
Mine stayed pretty snug too. I figured that’s just how it’s supposed to fit so it doesn’t slide around at night. If it’s uncomfortably tight after a few tries I’d probably remold it.
I looked at a couple of those schedules and they just seemed like overkill for a normal house. I do the basics when stuff actually looks dirty and it’s fine. Not really a big deal if you skip the fancy daily lists.
White noise helps but it won’t fix the root issue. Gasping or pausing isn’t normal, could be sleep apnea, so yeah get them checked. Don’t let them shrug it off.
