Thinking about picking up NuraFix for some light swirls on my black car. Before I buy, anyone with darker paint notice any haze or residue after buffing it off?

I have a dark blue car and I was a little worried about haze too, but I didn’t see any after using it. I just made sure to really buff it off well with a clean microfiber and it left a nice, clear shine.

Honestly I’d just test it on a small spot first. That’s what I did on my dark gray car and it was fine. No haze that I noticed.

Not sure why everyone’s saying no haze. I tried it on a dark car and it left a faint cloudy look in the sun. Had to hit it with a quick detailer to fix it.

I have a black car and I actually got a faint haze in spots, but I think I let it sit too long before buffing. Might just be user error on my end though.

I’d just try it on a small hidden spot first to be safe. That’s what I usually do with stuff like this.

I think if you wipe it off quick enough it should be fine. Might just depend on how much you use.

I just used it on my black SUV last weekend and no haze at all. I sprayed it on a microfiber, not directly on the panel, and buffed it off right away. Might be down to how you apply it more than the paint color.

I think it probably depends more on how you apply it than the paint color itself. I’ve seen people get haze with other products when they use too much or don’t buff evenly. Usually a quick second wipe sorts it out if anything shows up.

Good points in here. I ended up grabbing it anyway and it worked fine on my black car, just made sure to wipe it off pretty quick. No haze on my end.

Black paint shows everything, so I get why you’re asking. I’ve used it on a dark grey car and the haze only showed up when I was stingy with the buffing cloth. If you work it until it’s fully gone instead of just wiping once, it leaves the paint looking clean.
