I’ve been using an old ceramic space heater in my home office. The Epicooler says it heats too. Anyone know if the electricity use is about the same or noticeably different? Trying to figure out if switching makes sense for winter.

Honestly, I wouldn’t overthink it too much. If they’re both pulling the same wattage, the difference on your bill is basically nothing. I’d just go with whichever one feels better to sit near.

People make this way more complicated than it needs to be. Same watts, same cost, plain and simple. The Epicooler might feel nicer because it moves air around, but it’s not going to save you money. I’d just keep whatever works.

Makes sense, thanks for the replies. Sounds like it’s basically the same cost either way, so I’ll just go with whatever feels better in the room. Probably stick with the old one for now since it’s already here.
