I’ve been using the Qinux VultrioX for a few weeks now and it works fine on flat areas, but on uneven ground it feels a bit jumpy. Anyone else notice that? Maybe I’m just holding it at the wrong angle.

I think a lot of it depends on how steady your footing is while you’re swinging it. The VultrioX has a bit of weight to it and if I’m not bracing myself properly on bumpy spots it definitely jumps around more than I’d expect. Maybe try a slightly slower sweep and see if that smooths it out.

Not really had that issue myself. I think it handles uneven ground fine as long as you’re not trying to go too fast.

I think the angle thing might be part of it. I noticed mine gets a bit bouncy too if I’m not keeping the head level on slopes.

Mine feels the same way if the ground is really lumpy. Maybe it’s just how these heads behave when they can’t stay flat.

Mine does the same thing on bumpy ground. I think it’s just the nature of a wire head, they bounce when they can’t stay planted.

Haven’t had that problem myself. Works fine on my bumpy field.

Huh, I didn’t really notice it being jumpy, but I mostly use mine on grass that’s already pretty flat. I guess if you’re on really uneven ground it could get a bit bouncy, but I just slow down a little and it’s fine for me. Might be worth just trying a different angle like you said.

I feel like this kind of thing gets brought up with almost every steel head at some point. It’s just how they ride on lumpy ground.

I think it’s probably just the weight of the steel wires throwing it off a bit when the ground isn’t level. Mine does the same thing on my patio edges, but I just slow down a little and it’s fine.

Probably just the ground being uneven. Not much you can do about it, same as any other head I’ve tried. Works fine on normal grass, that’s what matters to me.

Angle matters, but it’s still gonna bounce on really uneven stuff. I just slow down a bit and it’s fine.

I haven’t really had that issue myself, but I mostly use mine on fairly even ground so maybe I just haven’t hit the right kind of bumpy yet. Could just be how it behaves on rougher stuff.

I think it might just be how these wire heads react when the ground isn’t perfectly level. Not totally sure there’s a fix for it.

I think some of it might just be the ground itself rather than the head. I’ve used mine on a few bumpy spots and it didn’t feel that different from other heads I’ve had. Maybe try a slightly lighter grip and see if that helps, but honestly I wouldn’t overthink it.

I think a lot of it just depends on how you hold it, but I’ve noticed mine feels weird on bumpy mossy spots too. I usually just tilt it a tiny bit more and it’s less annoying. Not a huge deal for me honestly.

I just use mine and don’t overthink it too much. It does bounce a little on really uneven spots but it still cuts fine.
