I’ve got a bunch of mounts from an older GoPro I used to use. Anyone know if the Pro Capture uses the same mount size or if I’d need to buy all new ones? Trying to figure out if I can reuse what I have before I decide.

I’d guess they’re the same size, but I’d double check before buying. I had a similar worry with a different camera and it worked out fine.

Hard to say for sure without checking the exact specs, but most of these action cameras use the same basic mounting standard these days. I’d be surprised if your old mounts didn’t work, the whole point is they’re supposed to be interchangeable.

I wouldn’t overthink it too much. Most of these action cameras use the same basic mounting setup so I’d be surprised if it didn’t fit.

Pretty sure they use the same standard mount size, so your old stuff should work. I’d just check if the adapter is included in the box to be safe.

Pretty sure it’s the same standard mount size. Most of these cameras use that same folding prong thing. You’ll probably be fine with what you’ve got.

Probably the same mount. They all copy each other anyway.

I’d just try it and see. Most of those mounts are pretty interchangeable even if they look a little different. The adapter that comes in the box should help if there’s a slight mismatch.

I’ve got a pile of old GoPro mounts sitting in a drawer and they clicked right onto mine without any fuss. The adapter that comes in the box made it even easier to switch between them. I wouldn’t worry too much about buying new ones.

I just checked mine and the adapter that came in the box let me clip it onto an old handlebar mount I had laying around. Seemed to fit fine without any wobble.

Oh I was wondering the same thing when I got mine. I just dug out an old helmet mount I had and it clipped on fine without needing the adapter. Seems like they kept the same size.

I think you’re probably fine. The adapter that comes with it should let you use whatever mounts you already have lying around. I didn’t have to buy anything new for mine.

Alright, good to know. Sounds like the adapter sorts it out for most people. I’ll probably just dig mine out and give it a shot rather than overthinking it. Appreciate the replies.

I’ve got an old selfie stick that still clicks in perfectly, so the mounting system seems pretty standard to me.
