I’m mostly curious if Bluetooth is solid on Linux without the software. I’ve seen some mice drop connection randomly, but not sure if that’s a worry here.
Mine makes a little clicking sound when it first turns on, but after that it’s pretty quiet. I wouldn’t say it’s silent, just not something that bothers me.
I mean, it’s probably not *true* 60fps but mine looks fine for what I paid. Might just be a quirk of the file.
I put mine on the edge of my patio where it’s a bit breezy and it still caught a few things. Not a ton, but enough that I noticed less bugs buzzing around me. I think it depends on how strong the wind is that night.
I tried mine at a train station last week and it handled it alright. Not perfect but I could still follow the conversation.
Works fine for me. I picked one up a while back and it does what it’s supposed to do without much fuss. Not really a game changer, just easier than messing with a file by hand.
Pretty much. I’ve got one in my bedroom and it’s drafty too. It keeps me warm right where I sit, but I don’t expect it to do the whole room. Works fine for what it is.
The last known location thing works well enough for me. I just use it to make sure my bag didn’t get left behind somewhere. Not really worried about live tracking from far away.
TV mode works well enough for me. I don’t use it for anything else but it definitely helps catch dialogue I was missing before. Not perfect but a real difference.
I think it’s probably fine unless you’ve got it buried under a bunch of stuff. I wouldn’t expect it to be deafening or anything, but it gets the job done for me so far.
I just use my own SIM with it and it’s been fine. No issues with it locking up or anything. That built in plan they push seems like more of an option than a requirement.
I think you’re overthinking it honestly. These things are pretty basic, just a fan and some water, not much to wear out. I’d say let it run and just top off the tank when you remember.
I dunno, mine goes way longer than a month before I even think about charging it. Maybe people just leave it in boost mode all the time.
I’d just go for it honestly. Old HDMI ports are pretty basic, they either work or they don’t, so Flixy should be fine. Might not look amazing on a really old screen but it’ll do the job.
Good to know it works on brick without damaging them, that was my main worry. Sounds like swapping heads is just part of the deal, but I can live with that. Think I’ll pick one up and see how it goes.
Thanks everyone for the input. Sounds like it should do what I need without wrecking the bricks, so I’ll probably grab one and give it a shot.
I think it’s like 10 or so for offline, mostly the common ones. Not a huge deal for me since I usually just use it online anyway.
I’d guess it’s probably not a huge deal. I mean, the battery life is already pretty long, so even if it uses a bit more power, you’re still getting months out of it.
Maybe not worth the extra cash unless your neck is already pretty bad. I think most people only notice small differences.
Got one recently; fits the fridge door so much better than my old jug. Flip-top is handy and the little memo light actually stops you forgetting quite often.
Anyone actually see wrinkles improve in just 1–2 months? I didn’t, it took closer to three and the battery/charging cable was fine.
I kinda disagree that it’s bulky. I think it’s pretty small and light, fits in my bathroom drawer or a travel pouch no problem. Maybe that makes it easier to hold around gums, not totally sure.
Fits my medium lab fine, she hardly notices it. Charger feels a bit delicate so I handle it carefully, and it’s survived drizzle but I wouldn’t dunk it.
