Been using my Translattia earbuds for a week now and they work fine in quiet rooms. But I’m heading to a busy cafe soon for a language exchange thing and wondering if anyone has tested them somewhere with background chatter or street noise. The noise cancellation is there but I’m not sure how much it helps with the translation side.

I tried mine at a train station last week and it handled it alright. Not perfect but I could still follow the conversation.

I’ve used mine in a couple of noisier spots and it’s hit or miss. The noise cancellation helps a bit but it’s not going to filter out someone talking right next to you. Still usable if you’re both speaking clearly.

I think it depends more on how loud the place actually is. Mine does okay with general background noise, but if someone’s talking right next to me it gets confused. Still useful for the most part though.

I haven’t tried mine in a cafe yet but used them at a busy market last weekend. The translation was a little slower than usual but I could still catch what was being said. Honestly I think the earbuds do okay as long as the noise isn’t right on top of you.

I usually just switch to the phone speaker if the earbuds struggle in loud spots. Not ideal but works.

Not really a big deal honestly. I’ve used mine in a noisy bar and it was fine. The translation gets a bit laggy sometimes but still understandable. Just don’t expect it to be perfect.

I just turn down the ambient sound manually in the app when I’m in a loud spot. It’s not perfect but helps enough to get by.

I’ve used mine in a busy food court and honestly it was fine. The translation slowed down a little but nothing that made it unusable. I wouldn’t overthink it.

I’ve seen a few people say it’s fine in loud places but I’m not totally convinced yet. The noise cancelling probably helps a bit but the mic still has to pick up your voice through all that background mess. I think it depends on how thick the chatter is more than anything.
