I had one of those older keychain alarms years ago and the pin was so stiff I could barely pull it in a hurry. Is the AlarmTag pin easier to pull than those old ones? I’m thinking of getting one but I want to make sure I can actually use it fast if I need to.

I pulled mine once to test it and it came out smooth, no wrestling match.

I think the pull pin is way easier compared to the older ones I messed with. I grabbed mine out of my bag and pulled it just to see, and it came out without any of that awkward tugging. Obviously you want it to stay in place normally, but it feels like it actually moves when you need it to.

The pull pin on the AlarmTag is definitely smoother than the old keychain ones I remember. I’ve had mine clipped to my bag for a few months now and tested it a couple times just to get a feel for it. It comes out clean without that awkward tugging you had to do on the older models.

I never had the old ones, but I picked up an AlarmTag a while back and the pin comes out without much effort. I keep mine on my keychain so it gets jostled around a lot, and it hasn’t popped out on its own. For my money, I’d rather have one that’s a little too easy to pull than one I have to fight with.

I never had the old style ones, but I do remember fiddling with a friend’s once and it took some effort. The AlarmTag one is pretty smooth, I can pull it out one handed without thinking about it. That was the main thing I was worried about too, but it hasn’t been an issue.

I remember messing with an old one at a friend’s place and it took some real effort to pull. That’s actually what made me hesitate before getting the AlarmTag. But mine came out way easier when I tried it, enough that I don’t feel like I’d be fumbling around with it if I actually needed it.

The older ones I tried were a pain too. Pulled the pin on this one a few times just to check and it comes out clean every time. No jerking around or having to yank it sideways. It’s got a smooth pull to it.

Compared to the old ones I’ve tried, the pin on this one is way smoother.

The old ones were brutal, no argument there. The AlarmTag is noticeably smoother, it pops out with a quick tug rather than a full-on wrestling match. I can see why they changed the design, it makes a difference when you’re fumbling around in a panic.

I actually don’t think the pin is the main thing to worry about. Even if it pulls easy, you still have to get the whole thing off your keys or out of your pocket first. That’s where I always struggled with mine. The pin itself was fine, but fumbling around for it in a panic was the real issue for me.

The pin on the AlarmTag is definitely easier than the old ones I’ve tried. I don’t get why people make such a big deal out of it, a quick tug and it’s out. The old ones were way more of a hassle.
