Is the WellHeater supposed to be silent when it’s running?

Hey all, I’m looking at picking up a WellHeater for my home office and I was wondering about something. Does it make any kind of noise when it’s actually heating, or is it totally silent? I’m a bit sensitive to constant humming sounds while I’m trying to work, so I wanted to check before I buy one.

I mean, it’s not dead silent. You can hear it when the fan kicks on, but it’s not loud or annoying. Fine for an office.

I mean, it’s a heater with a fan, so it’s not gonna be totally silent. I wouldn’t worry about it for an office though, I barely notice mine.

Nah, it makes some noise. Not gonna pretend it’s dead quiet.

Mine makes a little clicking sound when it first turns on, but after that it’s pretty quiet. I wouldn’t say it’s silent, just not something that bothers me.

It’s not completely silent, but I’d call it quiet enough that it wouldn’t bug me in an office. The fan makes a soft whir, but it’s more of a background sound than a constant hum. I’ve had mine running while on calls and nobody noticed.

I’ve got one in my office and it makes a slight hum, but it’s barely there. I’m usually pretty picky about noise and it doesn’t bother me at all.

I think it makes some noise but I’m not totally sure if mine is running right or not. It’s quiet enough that I don’t notice it when I’m actually working, so probably fine for an office.

I’ve noticed mine makes a soft clicking sound when it first kicks on, but after that it’s just a low hum. I’m not super sensitive to noise, but I’d say it’s fine for an office. What I actually like is that I can set it on the desk and not have it blasting right in my ear.

I think mine makes a little noise but it’s nothing crazy. I barely notice it once I’m actually working.

Mine makes a little noise when it first kicks on, but once it’s been running for a minute I honestly don’t notice it. I wouldn’t call it silent exactly, but it hasn’t bothered me while I’m reading or watching stuff.

It’s not silent. Makes a low fan noise but I can barely hear it over my keyboard typing.

It’s not dead silent, but the noise is low enough that I forget about it after a few minutes. I wouldn’t call it a problem unless you’re really sensitive to any hum at all.

It makes some noise, but it’s not like a loud fan or anything. If you’re really sensitive to hums it might bug you, but I forget about it after a few minutes.

I was wondering the same thing before I got mine, so I just plugged it in and tried it out for a day. It’s not dead silent, but the noise is more of a soft whir that blends into the background pretty fast for me. I wouldn’t call it distracting unless your office is totally silent and you’re listening for it.

Honestly, I’d say it’s not totally silent, but it’s more of a soft hum than anything annoying. I’ve got mine in my room and I can barely hear it over my computer fan.

I’ve had mine running for a few days now and honestly I don’t really notice it unless the room is dead quiet. It’s there but not something that would bother me.

I think it depends on how sensitive you are. Mine makes a soft hum, but I’ve got a fan running in my office anyway so I don’t really notice it.

Mine makes a little noise, but I wouldn’t call it a hum. More of a soft clicking sound when it kicks on and off. Doesn’t bother me, but I’m not super sensitive to that stuff.
