MemberI’d say just try it and see. Worst case you’re out a few bucks and it didn’t work, but it’s not like the stuff is expensive.

MemberIt’s a coin battery, not a big deal to swap out. Mine’s been fine for a few months, and when it dies I’ll just grab another one from the store.

MemberCould be worse. I’ve seen some wireless adapters where the delay is so bad it’s unwatchable. Yours just sounds like normal Bluetooth lag.
Mike Casio
MemberI just clip them on and go. They haven’t budged on my morning jogs so far.

MemberI think people way overthink where to stick these things. I just put mine behind a bookshelf and it works fine for the local channels I actually watch. Try the table first and if it’s garbage, move it. Not that deep.
27 de June de 2026 at 13:02 in reply to: Logitech MX 3S on Linux – any quirks without Logi Options+? #3975Mike Casio
MemberIt’s fine for basic stuff. The scroll wheel and main buttons work out of the box on my setup, so clicking around in documents and web browsing is no issue. I was annoyed that the extra buttons are dead without the software, but for just moving a cursor around it does the job.

MemberMine drains noticeably faster on TV. Not a dealbreaker but definitely not subtle.
22 de June de 2026 at 19:49 in reply to: Does the Breezi AC actually cool the air or just feel nice up close? #3657Mike Casio
MemberIt’s not going to cool the room like an AC, no. But it’s fine for a desk if you just want some airflow that feels cooler than a regular fan.
Mike Casio
MemberI just plug mine in at night and forget about it. Battery life is fine for moving it around during the day, but I wouldn’t trust it for a full 8 hours on low.

MemberMatte paint is just more annoying to deal with in general. If it worked fine on clear coat I’d probably just try it on a tiny spot under the seat or something and see what happens. Worst case you learn a lesson on a part nobody sees.
19 de June de 2026 at 16:03 in reply to: Black Falcon Drone 4K at 60fps, or is that just marketing? #3418Mike Casio
MemberMaybe check the app settings, mine defaulted to 30 and I had to dig around to switch it. Not saying it’s true 60fps but it looked a bit smoother after that.

MemberThey’re clear lenses, so no they won’t work as sunglasses, but I don’t really see that as a huge deal. Audio holds up fine in most normal outdoor conditions, wind doesn’t bother it much unless it’s really strong. I’d just bring regular sunglasses and wear them underneath if it’s that bright out.
16 de June de 2026 at 12:00 in reply to: BareEarth Grounding Mat for better sleep or just placebo? #3151Mike Casio
MemberI wouldnt overthink it. If you feel fine using it, thats probably all that matters. Placebo or not, if it helps you relax a bit, who cares. Half the stuff people buy for “wellness” is mostly in their head anyway.
Mike Casio
MemberSeems fine to me. I’ve taken a few short multilingual calls with mine and they handled the back and forth without much drama. People overthink the pause thing.
