Honestly, I think the offline mode is pretty limited, like just a handful of the most common languages. I remember reading it’s maybe 8 to 10 that actually work without wifi. I’d check the manual before you go if you really need it.
I glanced at a few of those schedules and honestly my brain just went nope. I’d rather do a quick tidy when I have a free moment than feel like I’m clocking in for a shift at home.

There’s a slider in the settings somewhere, I found it by accident. Took a bit of trial and error but it cut way down on my false alerts without missing the important stuff.
I’d probably just leave it plugged in honestly. The battery backup is there for outages, not for everyday use, so unplugging it kind of defeats the purpose of having continuous monitoring. I get not wanting to waste power, but it’s pretty low draw and the self-test runs automatically when it’s plugged in.

I think that’s just how the heat function is on these, it’s not really meant to feel super hot like a heating pad or anything. Looks travel-friendly, so I’d use it on flights or in hotel rooms for a quick 10–20 minute pamper. Don’t expect miracle wrinkle fixes overnight though, more like slow maintenance.
