Alright, thanks for the replies. Sounds like it’s got enough kick to actually feel it, so I’ll probably just grab one and see how it goes. Appreciate the input.
Honestly, I’m not totally sure about that two year claim. I’ve had mine for about 10 months with maybe 3-4 alerts a day and the battery still shows full in the app. But I barely use live view, so maybe that’s why.
I have one and it’s fine for normal trimming but I wouldn’t count on it for really thick toenails. It’ll do the job eventually but it’s definitely slower and you have to go over the same spot a few times.
I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and it’s kinda the same for me. Some sites it blocks fine, others I still get popups. Honestly feels like it depends on the site more than anything else, not sure if that’s normal or not.
Yeah, I think you can turn it down in the settings somewhere. I remember messing with mine because it kept catching my ceiling fan. Not totally sure where exactly but it’s in the motion detection menu, just slide it down a bit.
The heat on this thing is pretty subtle, I wouldn’t call it a proper heating pad or anything. It’s more like a barely-there warmth that you might not even notice if you’re focused on the pulses. Doesn’t bother me much since I bought it for the EMS, not the heat.
I think a lot of those sprays are just covering up the smell with a stronger one, not actually fixing it. I tried a couple and they just made my place smell like a wet dog and lavender mixed together, which is worse. You’re better off figuring out why he smells first.
I don’t think it’s pure marketing, but I think the paint mostly just hides or slows visible regrowth rather than fixing the cause. For a spot that stays damp it’ll probably be temporary, so…
I’d keep it. Seems like a decent, non-invasive aid even if it doesn’t solve everything. Not totally sure dogs won’t tune it out, but it does calm things down sometimes.
One setup note: remove the plastic protector from the filter and give it a full charge before first use, that fixed the weak suction I saw.
Had one for about six months and I do leave it on overnight fairly often with no issues. For the price it warms my small room fine, so worth it, but don’t expect it to slash your heating bill if you’d otherwise run central heat. Safety stuff seems solid and I’ve never had it randomly cut out.
Saved me from plugging in every drive, works pretty much every day. Had a few slow starts in one older car but once it’s up audio and maps are fine.
Seems like it helps some folks, but I’m skeptical the grounding claim does more than placebo. The short flimsy cord complaint sounds totally valid.
