I’m thinking about getting the Qinux BreezaMax for my bedroom, but I sleep light. Does it actually stay quiet on low speed, or does it make that humming noise some bladeless fans do?

Nah, I think it’s fine. I’ve had mine running on low all night a few times and it didn’t bother me.

I’ve been using mine for a few weeks now and on low it’s basically a whisper, I can barely hear it over my ceiling fan. No weird humming that I’ve noticed.

I think it’s probably fine for most people on low, but light sleepers can be hit or miss with bladeless fans in general. Not totally sure if this one avoids that hum completely, but it doesn’t seem like a common complaint. Might be worth trying from somewhere with a good return policy just to be safe.

I keep going back and forth on this one. On low it’s supposed to be quiet, but I wonder if the oscillating part makes any clicking or motor noise as it moves back and forth. That kind of thing gets on my nerves more than the airflow sound itself.

I sleep with mine on low every night and haven’t noticed any humming. It’s quiet enough that I forget it’s running.

I don’t get the hype on this one. I tried it in my bedroom and the low speed still has a faint hum that drives me nuts. Not sure why people say it’s silent.

I sleep with mine on low every night and it’s barely noticeable. No humming or weird noises, just a soft whoosh that blends into the background.

I haven’t had any issues with humming on mine, even at night. I think it’s quiet enough for a bedroom unless you’re really sensitive to any sort of airflow noise.

Low speed is quiet enough for me, but that faint hum people talk about is real if you’re picky about fan noise. It’s not loud, just a constant low buzz that might bug you. Depends on how much background sound you can tolerate.

I think it really depends how sensitive you are to fan noise in general. I’ve heard mixed things about it, but most people seem to say the low setting is fine for sleeping.

From what I’ve read, opinions seem to split pretty evenly. I picked one up mostly for my desk during the day, but I did try it in the bedroom out of curiosity. On low, I found it quiet enough — no humming that bothered me, just a gentle airflow sound. I think it really comes down to how sensitive you are to any kind of fan noise at all.

I skimmed through the replies and it sounds like it’s kind of a toss-up depending on the person. If you’re really picky about noise, maybe try it somewhere you can return it easily first.

I sleep with mine running on low every night and honestly it just sounds like a gentle breeze to me. No humming that bothers me, but I’m not super sensitive to noise either. I guess it depends on how picky you are about fan sounds.

I just leave mine on low while I sleep and it doesn’t bother me at all. No weird humming noise that I’ve noticed. It’s been fine for my bedroom.

Honestly I’m probably just going to try it out in my own room and see if it bugs me. I figure if it’s too loud I can always move it to my desk during the day.

I mean, I’d just get it and try it out. If it’s too loud for you, you can always move it to another room.

I skimmed through and it seems like most people are fine with it, but I’m a bit curious about the hum thing too. I think I’d just buy it and see how it goes, maybe return it if it’s annoying.

I wouldn’t lose sleep over the hum thing. I just need it quieter than my AC unit and it’s fine for that.
