I’ve been thinking about picking up the Glokore Filtered Showerhead mainly because my hair has been feeling so dry and brittle lately. I keep hearing that filtering out chlorine can make a difference, but I’m wondering if it’s really noticeable or just one of those subtle things. Anyone here notice a real change in their hair after switching?

I’ve used one for a few months and honestly, it’s fine. My hair feels a bit less straw-like than before, but it’s not like a miracle transformation or anything. I’d say it’s one of those subtle things where you only really notice if you switch back to a regular head for a week.

I’d give it a shot if your water is heavily chlorinated, it’s not going to fix everything overnight but it did take the edge off for me. Mine’s been running a couple months and my hair isn’t as straw-like, still need conditioner though. It’s a decent enough upgrade for the price, just don’t expect a miracle.

I got one a while back and honestly it’s fine for what it is. My hair still has its dry moments but the water definitely feels softer on my skin, so I figure it’s doing something. Not a game changer but I don’t regret buying it either.

My water’s pretty hard and my hair was basically straw before I switched. It definitely feels softer now, not perfect but noticeable enough I’d keep using it.

I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes for dry hair honestly. I got mine more for the softer water feel and it does that fine. I think people treat this thing like it’s supposed to reverse all their hair damage. It filters some chlorine out, that’s about it. If your hair is dry for other reasons, this won’t save it.

It probably won’t fix everything but mine made my hair less frizzy after a few washes. Good enough that I just leave it on and don’t think about it.

I think a lot of it depends on what kind of water you’re starting with. For me, I noticed my hair felt less like it had a film on it after washing, which was a nice change. It’s not going to fix deep dryness, but it’s a simple enough swap to make the shower feel a bit nicer overall.

Glad I started this thread because these replies actually helped me just go ahead and get one. I’ve had it for a couple weeks now and my hair isn’t magically perfect or anything, but it definitely doesn’t feel like straw anymore. That’s good enough for me.

Mine made a small difference but honestly the dry hair thing is still there. If the problem is chlorine and your water is heavy with it you’ll probably notice something. If your hair is dry for other reasons this isn’t going to fix it. I keep mine on because the water feels less harsh but I didn’t expect a miracle and didn’t get one.
