Jess Carter
MemberI’ve had mine for a few months and honestly the cooling works fine for my room. I think people just notice heat more because it hits you right away, but the cold air does its job if you give it a bit of time.

MemberThanks for all the input, that helps. I think I’ll just try it and see how it goes with my setup.

MemberI keep going back and forth on these. The clear lens thing is kind of a bummer for sunny days, but I guess you can just wear them under normal sunglasses or swap them out. Curious if the audio is clear enough for walking through a busy market or if you end up missing half of what’s being said.

MemberI’ve been curious about this too since I’m still thinking about picking one up. Does it seem like the battery drain is noticeable when you’re actually using it, or more just when it’s sitting around?

MemberI’ve been curious about the SawShark too. I mostly just wonder if it’s any faster than fumbling around with a file when the chain is already on the saw.

MemberI figure if they specifically say it’s suitable for bathrooms, they probably tested it with some moisture around. I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless you’re planning to put it right next to the shower head.

MemberI kind of see it the other way. If the room is that cluttered, I feel like you’re just paying extra to zap a few inches of floor. Not convinced that’s worth it.
13 de June de 2026 at 22:39 in reply to: Aptofit sleep tracking – anyone else find it a bit inconsistent? #2972Jess Carter
MemberI just kind of glance at the sleep data in the morning and don’t overthink it. For the price, it tracks enough for me to get a general idea of how I slept.
13 de June de 2026 at 17:17 in reply to: Does NuraFix leave any kind of residue on plastic trim? #2944Jess Carter
MemberHonestly, plastic trim is just weird like that, some stuff sticks and some doesn’t. I’d probably just hit it with a quick wipe and see if it evens out after a wash or two.
10 de June de 2026 at 11:02 in reply to: Does remote control lag get worse if you use it from a different room? #2704Jess Carter
MemberI think walls can mess with it too, not just distance. Hotels always seem to have weird layouts that mess with signal. Maybe that’s all it is.

MemberI’ve been looking at the Black Falcon too mainly because I hate carrying a big case around. The camera is probably fine for quick clips but I’m more curious about how stable it stays in a light breeze since that’s usually what ruins my shots.
7 de June de 2026 at 17:03 in reply to: Qinux FelinStop vs old ultrasonic repeller, is the LED light actually useful? #2491Jess Carter
MemberI get what you mean about the LED. I was wondering the same thing when I got mine. I think it probably adds a little extra deterrence for night animals since they don’t love sudden lights, but I wouldn’t say it’s the main feature. The solar charging is nice though, no cords to deal with.
6 de June de 2026 at 22:25 in reply to: Does the Matsato blade stay sharp long enough for daily cooking? #2448Jess Carter
MemberI keep going back and forth on whether the ice hardening makes a real difference or if it’s just marketing. I’d probably just get it and see how it feels after a month or two of regular use.

MemberI’d just treat the games as a nice extra if you’re already getting the stick for streaming. Not something I’d worry about either way.
