Thinking about grabbing a Coolizi Coolzy for my bedroom. It gets pretty warm in the afternoon sun. Anyone using one in a similar setup?

We got one in our back room that gets hammered by sun in the afternoon. Does the job well enough, keeps it comfortable without feeling like the air is being blasted at you. Not totally sure how it would hold up in a bigger space, but for a normal bedroom I think you’d be fine.

Honestly I got one for my bedroom which gets hammered by late afternoon sun and it handles it okay. Not gonna lie it doesn’t freeze the room or anything but it takes the edge off enough that I can actually sleep. I just wish the remote was a bit more straightforward.

I haven’t tried it in a bedroom, but I’ve been looking at these for my home office that faces west. Curious how loud the fan is on the higher settings since I’d be trying to work or sleep with it running.

I think it depends on what you’re expecting honestly. My friend has one in a room with afternoon sun and says it takes the edge off but doesn’t make it icy or anything. I’ve been tempted to try it myself just for the portability since I move mine around a lot.

I think the remote control would actually be handy for a bedroom setup, being able to adjust it without getting out of bed.

I’ve got one in a room that bakes in the late afternoon and it does a decent job. It won’t turn it into a fridge or anything, but it keeps it from getting stuffy.

The remote is useful, sure, but what nobody mentions is the fan noise during the night. If you’re a light sleeper, that whisper-quiet claim is a bit generous.

I was actually wondering about this too but more for a living room setup. The remote seems like it would be nice but Im not sure how much I trust the quiet operation claim for sleeping.

I’ve got one in a room that gets hammered by afternoon sun and it handles it fine for me. The remote is nice for bedtime adjustments, but I wouldn’t call it whisper quiet on higher settings. Still works well enough that I don’t regret it.

Honestly I wouldn’t overthink it for a bedroom with afternoon sun. I have mine in a similar spot and it does what it needs to do. The remote is nice for adjusting at night but that’s about it.

Remote is alright but the noise thing people keep bringing up is valid. It’s not loud but it’s definitely not silent either. Fine if you run it before bed and let the room cool down then turn it off.

I’ve got one in a room that gets blasted by sun all afternoon and honestly it takes the edge off enough for me to nap. The remote is handy for turning it down without getting up, but I wouldn’t call it life changing or anything. It’s fine for what it is.

Mine handles the heat fine. The remote is handy but the sleep timer is what I actually use.

I’ve got one in a bedroom that gets cooked by afternoon sun. It works well enough for me, but I wouldn’t say it’s amazing. The remote is fine, but I mostly just set it before the heat hits.

I’d probably just go for it and see. If it doesn’t cut it, you can always move it to another room.

Mine works fine for the afternoon heat. It’s not going to freeze you out but it drops the temp enough to not be miserable. Remote is whatever, I just use the touch controls on the unit.

It’s fine for taking the edge off but don’t expect it to actually cool the room down. I just use mine to make the air move around a bit.

I tried mine in a room with afternoon sun and it didn’t really cut it for me. Had to move it closer to the bed to feel any difference.

Thanks for all the input. Sounds like it really depends on the room. Think I’m just gonna grab one and see how it goes for me.
