Honestly, I wouldn’t count on it for anything too tough. I’ve seen these portable ones and they’re handy for a quick rinse, but stubborn grime on a patio is a different story. You’ll probably end up disappointed if you’re hoping for that kind of power.
Mine does that too. I just ignore the light and go by whether my devices actually connect fine. Works well enough for me so I stopped paying attention to it.
I’d bring the tiny FM radio, it’s a small, pleasant thing to have on a weekend train. Maybe you won’t touch it and batteries are a tiny hassle, but I liked catching local stations without messing with data. Phone works fine too though, so either way is reasonable I guess.
I disagree. Roaming speeds have been fine for me and the battery usually gets me through a full day.
Thanks for the input. I’ll keep it for now despite the monthly cartridge expense, the convenience is worth it to me. If it starts feeling too pricey I’ll rethink it later.
Filter clogging fast doesn’t bother me, seems pretty normal for a small cordless. I just give it a quick clean now and then and it still handles quick spot jobs fine. Not a dealbreaker.
They do alright on loose fur and crumbs. Deeply embedded hair usually stays put. Fine for a quick tidy, not a miracle fix.
Not a big deal, honestly. Higher build quality helps — solid fittings and a snug bell reduce the jangling compared to cheap, floppy collars — but none I’ve tried were truly silent without feeling bulky. It’s mostly a trade-off between quiet and light.
Instructions were pretty skimpy so I just guessed the settings for a few days, maybe that’s why it felt hit-or-miss.
