I’ve been looking at the Qinux AirdrobeX for apartment use. It feels quiet and compact, which is good for small spaces. Dries shirts and delicates gently but thick items take ages. The UV antibacterial light seems nice but I’m unsure if it actually reduces odors and bacteria. Anyone used it long term and worth keeping?

I bought the AirdrobeX last winter to replace a clunky folding drying rack I hated. It’s quiet, gentle on shirts and delicates, and honestly cut down the damp smell in my flat; the UV light seems to help. Thick woolly jumpers still take ages so I sometimes finish them on a radiator.

Seems handy for apartments and quick small loads, but I’m a bit skeptical the UV light actually kills smells or bacteria long-term. Might be convenient, maybe not a miracle though, not totally sure.

Seems fine, not a big deal. Maybe the UV is more marketing than miracle, I think.

I disagree, the UV seemed to help with the stale smell after a few runs. Only real annoyance is bulky sweaters take ages to dry.

I disagree. I wouldn’t bank on the UV part doing much long term. I’d probably skip the AirdrobeX and get a heated drying rack or save for a small condenser dryer.

I’ve had mine through two winters and I think I’d keep it. Shirts and delicates dry faster, thick knits still take ages. The UV seems to cut down on musty smells a bit, maybe not a miracle but helpful.

Sounds like a neat option for cramped apartments, I think the foldable design would be my priority with something like this. Not totally sure about the UV bit but I like quiet, tuck-away gadgets so I’d probably lean toward it.

I’ve had mine for a few months now and it’s been fine for everyday stuff like t-shirts and socks. The UV part I don’t really think about, but things come out dry and not musty, so that’s good enough for me.

I think the UV thing is probably more of a nice bonus than a main feature, but if it helps with musty smells a bit, that’s not bad.
