The whole “adult mask won’t fit small faces” thing gets blown out of proportion. I’m not exactly built like a linebacker myself, and I’ve had no problem getting a seal when I’ve practiced with mine. The mask is flexible enough that it molds a bit when you push down, which is the whole point of the “place” step. It’s not like a rigid CPR mask that just sits on top.
I get the concern, but people overthink the sizing. If it’s literally falling off, sure, use the child one. But for most smaller adults, the adult mask pressing down firmly is going to do the job. Choking emergencies aren’t exactly the moment for a perfect custom fit anyway.
Honestly, I wouldn’t overthink the noise thing. If your old fan sounds like a jet, this will be a big step up even if it’s not dead silent.
I think they include a few sizes, small included. Fit is usually the gamble with these things no matter what they toss in the box though.
Battery sounds about right for a GPS collar that’s actually polling. I’d just top it off after every walk and not worry too much unless it starts dying mid-day.
I’d take the hydrophobic claim with a grain of salt. Most sprays like that lose the water beading pretty quick once you hit them with soap a few times.
I’d bet the flickering thing is just coincidence. Those lights are usually just reacting to whatever the washer or fridge is doing at that moment.
Hard to say with a really stubborn dog. I have one that ignores most things and it sort of worked for a bit then he got used to it. Might be worth a shot if you can borrow one first. Not totally sure it’ll fix a neighbor’s problem though, depends on the dog.
I think it might just be how these wire heads react when the ground isn’t perfectly level. Not totally sure there’s a fix for it.
I’d say it’s probably doing something. I’ve had mine for a while and I definitely notice fewer mosquitoes buzzing around the living room at night compared to before. Not a massive difference, but it’s not nothing either.
I just put mine on until it feels secure without being annoying. Too tight and you’ll hate it by lunch, too loose and it’s basically a leg warmer.
Honestly, I still think the whole pressure sensor thing is overblown by marketing. It lights up red sometimes but does it actually stop anyone from brushing like a gorilla? I doubt it.
They stick fine as long as your skin isn’t oily or sweaty. I wouldn’t trust them if you’re actually moving around a lot though.
I think it’s hard to tell if it’s actually working or if you just got lucky with no mice that month. I tossed some in my attic and didn’t see any activity, but it could’ve been coincidence.
It’s not dead silent, but the noise is low enough that I forget about it after a few minutes. I wouldn’t call it a problem unless you’re really sensitive to any hum at all.
Not totally sure about the blade feeling different. I think part of it is just wood having a little give to it, so the knife stops differently. But the no smell thing is nice enough that I wouldnt switch back.
I skimmed a few replies and it sounds like most people are just guessing. I wouldn’t trust a portable dryer with a thick wool sweater unless you’re ready to accept it might come out a bit off. The air circulation probably isn’t strong enough to ruin it, but the heat could still be an issue if you’re not careful.
Lenses are clear, so don’t count on them for sunglasses. Audio holds up fine for me in most outdoor situations, wind isn’t a big deal unless it’s really strong. Traffic noise will mess with it more than wind. I’d probably just grab a cheap pair of regular shades if I needed both.
I don’t know, the pause thing people keep bringing up seems like something you’d only notice if you’re trying to talk over someone. For short back and forth business calls it’s probably fine.
It’s probably fine. If you aren’t wearing it while doing cartwheels, the straps should keep it in place. I wouldn’t overthink it.
I have a soft mattress too and I just use it on the floor when I want the real stretch. The heat and vibration still feel okay on the bed but the traction part is pretty much lost.
I dunno, a couple minutes three times over two days and it’s already low sounds pretty weak to me. These things aren’t exactly built like tanks, but that still feels off. I’d probably just use it and see if it’s a pattern before worrying too much.
I think people treat this thing like it’s supposed to reverse all their hair damage. It filters some chlorine out, that’s about it. If your hair is dry for other reasons, this won’t save it.
