So I tried NuraFix on a few light scratches and honestly the shine improvement was pretty good. But I’m wondering about that whole hydrophobic claim — does the water beading actually stick around for a while or does it fade after the first wash? Just curious if anyone else noticed that.

Hydrophobic stuff usually fades faster than they claim in my experience. I’d be surprised if it lasts past a couple washes.

I’d take the hydrophobic claim with a grain of salt. Most sprays like that lose the water beading pretty quick once you hit them with soap a few times.

I’d push back on that a little. I’ve had mine hold up through maybe eight or nine washes now and it still beads water noticeably. Not as tight as day one, but definitely still there and not just marketing fluff.
