I skimmed this and honestly it’s hard to say how well it’ll work in a dense building setup. People seem to get local stuff okay sometimes but it’s not a sure thing.
I’d guess it helps a little but don’t expect a miracle. If you’re used to pillows that feel like they’re holding a heat bubble, this one at least lets some air move through. I still wouldn’t call it cool, just less stuffy.
I think people overthink this. It’s a bit chunky but it’s not like it takes up a whole bag. I just throw mine in my carry on and don’t even notice it.

Battery life on these things is usually fine for a commute, you’ll probably get a few hours out of it before it dies on medium brightness. The joysticks are okay, nothing special but they do the job for the odd fighting game. TV output is just plug and play with a cable, no drama. Honestly, it sounds like it covers what you’re after without being a big deal.

Alright, thanks for the input. Sounds like swirls can show up fast if you don’t baby the car but big dents are rarer, so I’ll stop staring at every speck and try a gentler wash now I think. Not totally sure how long the finish will last, but less paranoid for now.
Not totally sure, but probably a marginal upgrade for most people. Ergonomic shapes can actually help alignment so you might feel less stiffness after long sessions. Marketing blows it up though, don’t expect a miracle. Maybe only worth it if you can try one cheap or return it, otherwise your cheap foam might be fine.
Maybe I’m just cheap, but I can’t tell if swapping filters every month is actually worth it long-term. It does make my tap taste better, but I’m not convinced it’s doing anything dramatic if your water’s already okay. I’ll probably keep it for convenience, not because it’s some miracle fix.
Don’t expect magic. I switched to a travel pack last year and the pockets and padding are actually handy, but it added weight and sometimes feels over-organized. Having a dedicated spot for a power bank and cables made charging between hops way less annoying, so mixed feelings.

Not seeing the flaky updates people mention. Mine updates reliably around town and the ringer actually helps when I misplace my wallet. Battery life has been solid so far. YMMV if you live somewhere with few Apple devices.

Chest mount’s fine but I mostly clip the Pixgo to my shoulder strap — gives a nicer horizon and less bobble. Video is decent for casual rides, don’t expect movie-smooth footage. Heads-up the included mount plastic feels cheap, so don’t yank it on and off too rough.
