I’m thinking about picking up a Qinux BarkBuz for my neighbor’s dog that won’t stop barking at night. Does it actually work on dogs that are really set in their ways? I know it’s not a magic fix, just wondering if it’s even worth trying on a stubborn one.

Worth a try if you don’t mind wasting the money. Ultrasonic stuff either bothers the dog enough to stop or it doesn’t, and stubborn ones usually just get used to the noise after a few days.

Hard to say with a really stubborn dog. I have one that ignores most things and it sort of worked for a bit then he got used to it. Might be worth a shot if you can borrow one first. Not totally sure it’ll fix a neighbor’s problem though, depends on the dog.

I’d give it a shot if the dog is inside or close enough. The range on those things isn’t great so placement matters more than how stubborn the dog is.

Barking at night is annoying, but I wouldn’t overthink it. For the price, it’s simple enough to just point it out the window and see if it bugs the dog enough to stop. Worked fine for a neighbor’s mutt near me.
