I just skip the ice chamber altogether. Battery life is already short enough without making it worse.
Placebo or not, at least it doubles as a decent footrest. That’s more than my overpriced yoga mat does.
It works fine with just tap water. The ice makes it feel a bit cooler for a few minutes, but the fan itself is the main thing. I barely notice the difference after the first ten minutes anyway.
Mine does that too. Not sure if I’m just moving around too much in my sleep or the sensor is just guessing.
I mean, it’s 800 watts. That’s not exactly a powerhouse. It’ll take the chill off if you’re sitting right next to it, but don’t expect it to heat the whole room evenly.
Mine holds the angle okay, I guess. Not totally sure how it’d do on something really low though. Stiffness seems fine to me, didn’t think much about it.
Offline on these things is always gonna be a trade-off. I’d rather have the Enence just to avoid pulling my phone out every time.
It’s fine for what it is, just don’t expect much. I’ve launched a few of the built-in games and they work, but I got bored pretty fast. Not really a reason to buy the stick, but it’s not hurting anything being there either.
I think you’d probably hear it okay unless your bag is a total black hole of random junk. Mine’s been fine in a small tote, but I wouldn’t count on it cutting through a packed gym bag or anything.
If you’re overthinking the camera for social clips, just get whichever is cheapest and move on. The Black Falcon will be fine for that.
The LED probably helps a bit with nocturnal animals, but honestly I wouldn’t count on it being a game changer.
I’d just position it where the light hits the area you want to protect and see if it makes a difference.
Mine seems to keep things away fine, but I’m not losing sleep over whether it’s the light or the noise doing the work.
I mean, it’s not magic, but I got one and my hair doesn’t feel like straw right out of the shower anymore. Worth it for that alone if you ask me.
30 minutes is just their lab number. Real world use with any attachment cuts that down. Mine barely lasts 20 with the brush. Still works for what it is though.
People keep acting like shape changes everything. It’s still steam, not a pressure washer. You’ll probably still be down there scrubbing the nasty spots.
I think it’s fine for a few hours on medium. Not totally sure why people are making a big deal out of it.
If it’s anything like mine, don’t hold your breath waiting for it to catch a nap automatically. I’ve had it miss a few short ones even when I was just lying still. Not exactly reliable for that.
Guess I’ll keep them in the case and see how it goes on the flight. Might still grab a phrasebook just in case. Thanks for the input.
I think most of the offline stuff is just the big ones like Spanish, French, Chinese. The rest are basically a waste of space unless you’re online.
