Heat mode on mine is basically pointless. I’ve had it a few months and used it mostly on my calf after running, and the heat is the one thing I stopped bothering with. Even on the top setting it stays lukewarm at best, and if you put it over any kind of clothing you feel nothing at all. Bare skin it’s there, but it’s weak enough that I forget it’s even on half the time. The stim part is fine for what it is, that’s why I kept using it, but the heat is not doing anything a hot shower wouldn’t do better. If that’s the main feature you’re buying it for, I’d look elsewhere.
Mine gets slightly warm, but that’s just how these things go. Nothing alarming. Been using it daily for a few months and the plug hasn’t melted yet.
Everyone keeps saying well water kills it. Mine’s on a shallow point well and it still knocked the mud off my wheel wells fine. Not a pressure washer, but it’s not a garden hose either.
Charging it more than expected probably means it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. If the thing is firing off every time a leaf hits the ground, of course the battery is going to drain. I wouldn’t call that a flaw, just the cost of having a noisy neighborhood.
Mine showed up in a plain cardboard box with nothing else inside either. I figured that was just how they ship, cheap packaging and all. For what these cost I would have expected at least a microfiber bag, but apparently that’s not part of the deal.
I just tossed them in the glovebox loose and after a few weeks they’re still fine, no scratches or anything. The lenses seem tougher than the packaging suggests. Still, I get why it bugs you. Keeping them in the car without any protection feels like asking for trouble eventually.
Plenty of cheap sunglass pouches out there if you don’t want to risk it. I’d grab one of those before they end up scratched from rattling around.
So everyone’s just accepting streaks as normal with this thing? I don’t get that. I ran mine over the patio doors last weekend and it dried completely clear. No second wipe, no buffing. If you’re getting streaks, you’re probably moving way too slow and leaving too much moisture behind. Keep it moving and it’s fine.
Different devices just measure at different moments, that part is obvious. But I would not assume the scale is the one that is wrong just because your watch says otherwise. Wrist trackers are not exactly medical equipment either, they guess based on your movement and skin contact. I had a similar issue with mine, the scale showed a lower number than my watch for a while, then one day it flipped and showed higher. Neither matched the manual pulse check I did. So honestly I would not treat either one as the source of truth. Use the scale for its actual purpose, which is tracking body composition trends over time. The heart rate thing is just a bonus feature they threw in there, not the reason you bought it. If it were consistently way off, like 20 beats or something, then I would start asking questions. A few beats difference is just noise.
If you’re jumping between oddball sizes, don’t assume it’ll just work. I tried it on a low-profile chain once and the guide sat crooked enough that I gave up and went back to a file. It’s fine for the usual stuff, but it’s not some universal tool.
Mine leaves a film too but I noticed it depends on how far I hold the nozzle from the glass. Close up it’s fine, back off a bit and it smears. So I just keep it tight to the window and it does the job well enough. Not perfect but passable.
Light brightness was never the issue with mine. It puts out enough glow to be visible across a small tent without being blinding. The real annoyance is listening to it zap stuff all night right next to your head. If you’re a light sleeper, that’ll bother you more than the light ever will.
A little give in the slot is pretty common on stuff in this price range, so I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. But the real question is whether the card stays seated when you’re actually moving the unit around. If it’s only wiggling when you poke at it, that’s one thing. If it’s shifting during normal use, that’s when you might end up with corrupted files or a recording that just stops for no reason.
I had a similar issue with a different gadget a while back. The slot felt fine at first, but after a few weeks the card would lose contact if I bumped the device even slightly. Drove me crazy until I figured out what was happening. The fix was just using a different card, believe it or not. Some cards have slightly thinner metal casings and they just don’t grip as well. Might be worth trying another card before you assume the unit itself is defective.
That said, if it’s recording fine and not dropping files, I’d probably just leave it alone. These things aren’t built like tanks and messing with the slot could make it worse. You got it for checking your backyard, not for professional work, so as long as it does that without issues, I wouldn’t overthink it.
80 sq ft is well within what that thing can handle, so coverage probably isn’t your issue. If anything, you might end up too warm if you crank it, so start low and adjust.
Guess it depends on the saw. Mine’s a cheap little electric too and it clamped on fine, no issues. Didn’t even check the pitch beforehand.
Slow kitchen drain? It’ll probably help a bit. Don’t expect magic if you’ve got years of gunk in there, but for basic grease it’s fine.

Steam on fabric is always going to take a bit more work. I wouldn’t call it a flaw of the Vapoxis specifically, just how steam cleaning works on stuff like that.
Honestly? It’s a handle, not a tow bar. If you yank it like you’re starting a lawnmower, yeah, it’ll feel flimsy. Just pull it out gently and move on.
Works fine for me. I talk fast and it didn’t choke up or anything. Not perfect but way better than I thought it’d be.
Battery life claims are always optimistic. I’d just buy it and swap the battery when it dies, not worth obsessing over.
