Got a Guardality card sitting in my wallet. I also use one of those passport covers with the built-in RFID slot. Not sure if stacking both is pointless or if it just adds more protection. Anyone tried this without issues?

Honestly I just keep mine in my wallet and don’t really think about it too much. If it’s already blocking stuff I figure stacking the passport cover on top won’t hurt anything.

I figure if the passport cover already has RFID blocking, stacking it with the Guardality card probably doesn’t do much extra. But it shouldn’t hurt either, so I’d just leave both and not overthink it.

I’ve got both in my wallet too and it’s been fine. The Guardality card does its thing on its own, so the passport cover is just extra at that point. Not like it hurts anything though.

I think it’s probably fine to stack them but I wouldn’t expect much extra out of it. The Guardality card should handle the blocking on its own, so the passport cover is just a backup at that point. Not totally sure it’s pointless, but it seems like overkill to me.

Stacking them is just extra plastic in your wallet. If the Guardality card actually works, the passport cover isn’t doing anything.

Pretty sure if the passport cover already blocks RFID, the Guardality card is just redundant in there. Not gonna mess anything up, but you’re probably carrying around extra plastic for no real reason.

Honestly, if you’ve got the Guardality card in there the cover’s just extra weight. Not gonna hurt anything but you’re not gaining much either.

I skimmed the thread, and honestly if you already have the Guardality card in your wallet, I think the passport cover is just extra. I use mine on its own when I travel and never had a problem with my cards being skimmed. The cover would probably just annoy me by making my wallet thicker.

I usually just toss whatever RFID stuff I have in my wallet without thinking too hard about it. If you already have both, no point in taking one out unless it’s annoying you.

Pretty sure the Guardality card does the heavy lifting on its own, so the passport cover is just extra at that point. I wouldn’t worry about stacking them causing any issues though, it’s not like they cancel each other out or anything. I’ve got mine in a regular wallet slot and never bothered with a cover.

I think stacking them probably doesn’t hurt, but I’m not totally sure if the passport cover might weaken the signal a bit if both are right on top of each other. I’ve got a Guardality card in my wallet and was thinking about adding a cover too, but I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe it’s just extra bulk for no real reason.

I just keep mine in the back of my wallet and toss my passport in the cover when I travel. Haven’t had any issues with either not working, so I wouldn’t stress about stacking them if it’s already set up.
