I’ve had mine for a couple months now and honestly I barely notice the red light unless I’m really leaning into it. It’s not like it bugs me or anything, but it does flash sometimes and I just back off a little. Seems fine to me, I wouldn’t call it a gimmick.
I’d say it’s probably fine for that. The IR isn’t super crisp across the whole room but it’s clear enough to spot movement or see if something’s on the couch.
Honestly, I think it handles dried on mud fine as long as your hose pressure isn’t terrible. I wouldn’t call it a miracle worker, but it’s definitely a step up from a basic spray nozzle.

Huh, that’s interesting. Mine actually gets pretty noticeably warm, not hot or anything but definitely more than just subtle. I can feel it after a minute or so. Maybe yours is just running a bit on the lower side?
Oh I think it’ll handle it fine once you get a feel for it. I sort of just let mine work a bit longer on the rough spots and it comes around.
I haven’t really noticed that issue with mine, it seems fine from across the room. Maybe it is just a dud.
I gave it a go on a glass jar just to test it and honestly it was fine. No scratches or anything, just a clean little engraving. I think people get too worried about it.
I slapped one on my router just to see and honestly I haven’t noticed any change in wifi speed or anything, but I also wasn’t really expecting to. It’s more of a peace of mind thing for me, I guess.
I just keep my ringer volume maxed out and so far I’ve been able to hear it from my bag when I’m not too far away. Honestly haven’t had a moment where I was digging around frantically for it. I feel like it’s one of those things you don’t really test until you actually need it.
I kind of wonder if the Epicooler would feel different even if the wattage is the same. My old heater blasts hot air and dries everything out, but the Epicooler’s heating seems more gentle or something. I’d probably stick with what you’ve got unless the noise or the feel bothers you.
I think some people expect way too much from a showerhead honestly. It’s just filtering out the chlorine, not a whole hair treatment routine.
I’d guess it really depends on how often you actually use the manual clean too. If you’re mostly relying on the self-cleaning mode, it’s probably fine, but I could see it adding up if you’re also hitting the button a few times a day. Still, the battery seems decent enough for a few days of normal use.
I think it just depends on what you need. For me, it keeps the air moving and feels nice when I’m sitting at my desk, but I never expected it to turn my whole apartment into a walk-in freezer.
I think swapping heads is just part of the deal with these things, no way around it. But once you get used to it, it’s not that big of a deal for a quick moss job.
I’ve got a 2010 sedan too and it’s been fine with SynGas so far. The OBD2 port worked without any weird issues, just plugged it in and let it do its thing for a bit. I’d say go for it if your car’s OBD2 is standard.
I think the app thing might be a bit of a coin toss depending on your phone honestly. I had more issues on an older android than I do now, but it still glitches out on me if I try to go too far or if there’s a lot of trees around. For the battery in wind, I noticed turning off the obstacle sensors for a short flight helped a little, but I’m not totally sure if that was just luck.
I think it’s something like 10 or 12 languages that work offline, not the full 68. I’ve only ever used mine with wifi honestly so I can’t say for sure. Maybe someone else here has tested it more.
I noticed the same thing at first but I think it depends on what else is plugged in. When I have just the USB-A port active by itself it seems fine for my older devices. Could be the charger is splitting the power differently than your old brick did.
I think it’s supposed to help with control but I’m not totally sure if it actually does. I mostly just ignore it and hold the knife normally, honestly I forget it’s even there most of the time.
Honestly, I think I remember seeing a slider for motion sensitivity somewhere in the settings but I never really messed with it myself. I mostly just use mine in a room with no windows so I don’t get those false alarms. Hope you can find it without too much digging.
Honestly I haven’t had too much trouble with saves on mine. They seem to work fine for the games I actually play regularly. I just added a few ROMs via SD card and they showed up without any fuss. Maybe I’m just lucky or not picky enough to notice the issues.
Yeah I think I get what you mean. It’s nice having something that actually fits in a pocket without feeling like a brick. I’m not totally sure about the cable long term either but so far it’s been fine for me.
Oh I’ve seen ads for that ClairLite thing, it looks so sleek. I haven’t tried that one but a friend has a similar little UV lamp and they just use it for their phone and keys for like 30 seconds. They seem to think it makes a difference but I’m not totally sure it’s doing much more than a good wipe down, you know?
Yep, worth keeping in the car. I like tiny keychain flashlights because they’re compact and don’t drain my phone battery.
