Looking at the Qinux Gravizer but I don’t want to buy extra heads right away. Does the box include more than one tip or is it just the one that’s already on it? Trying to figure out if I need to order spares upfront.

Mine came with a couple extras in a little bag, so you should be fine for a while.

I’d just open the box before ordering anything extra. Mine came with a couple spare tips tucked in the packaging, so it’s probably fine to hold off.

Different box, I guess. Mine only had the one tip already attached and a charging cable, nothing else. I ended up ordering a spare set before I even used it properly because I figured I’d wear one out fast. Would’ve been nice to know that beforehand.

Different batches must be hit or miss. Mine came with one spare tip in the box, but it was the same size as the one already on the pen. If you want variety for different materials, you’re better off grabbing a set now.

Mine had two spares in the box, so I haven’t needed to buy any yet.

It looks like it varies a lot depending on which batch you get. I’ve seen some unboxings where there’s a little pouch with two extras, and others where it’s just the one tip attached. I’d say wait until you actually open it before ordering spares, since you might end up with duplicates you don’t need yet.

I ordered mine last month and it came with one spare tip in the box, same as the one already attached. I’m still on the first one though, so I wouldn’t rush to buy backups until you’ve used it a bit.

They usually toss in at least one extra tip, so you’re probably fine to hold off.

I’d plan on buying spares either way, since the included ones never seem to match what you actually need.

I’m not sure there’s a standard answer on this one, but mine came with one extra tip and that’s been enough so far. I’d say hold off on ordering spares unless you know you’ll be switching heads a lot right away.

I didn’t find any spare tips in mine, just the one that was already attached. I figured that was the norm until I saw other people mentioning extras. It’s a bit of a gamble depending on the batch you get, so if you’re picky about heads, grabbing a spare pack is probably safer.

I’d just order the spare tips if you’re already thinking about it. Even if some boxes come with an extra one, it’s not guaranteed, and you’ll probably want a different style once you start using it anyway.

I literally tossed the box without checking when mine arrived, so I have no clue if there was an extra tip in there or not. I just grabbed it and started doodling on stuff. Probably should have looked, but it’s worked fine on the one tip so far.

Mine didn’t have any extra tips at all, so I just worked with the one on it for a while. It was fine for the basic stuff I was doing, but if you’re planning a bigger project, probably safe to grab spares whenever you feel like it.

It’s funny how inconsistent the packaging seems to be for this thing. I got mine and honestly I didn’t even think to check for extras until I saw this thread, so I dug through my drawer and there was one spare tip tucked in the bottom of the box that I completely missed. Glad I didn’t order backups yet.

Mine only had the single tip attached, so I wouldn’t count on getting spares if you order. I ended up using it for a few small wood projects before I felt like I needed a different head. Since you’re already thinking about it, probably safer to grab a set.

Mine came with one extra tip in a little plastic bag, but it was easy to miss since it was tucked under the foam. If you’re ordering anyway, grabbing spares is safer, but not everyone gets the same packaging apparently.

Mine came with one spare, but I would not count on it being in every box.

Guess the boxes really are a lottery then. Whatever, good enough to know before buying.
