    Seems fine to me, not a big deal overall. I get that a tiny, mushy remote is irritating for some folks, but it feels like a minor design slip rather than something that ruins the heater, so easy to shrug off tbh.

    Totally — those light swirl marks show up fast on dark cars, but actual dulling or clearcoat failure is usually much slower unless the car’s constantly abused. Mine still looks fine from a few feet away after a couple years, so I don’t panic over every little scratch.

    I think most of what people call early clear coat damage is just swirls from rough washing — I got visible swirl marks after a few trips through an automatic brush and a couple sloppy towel dries, not because the paint literally fell apart.
