Emma ReadsMemberI think it probably depends on how much you use the manual mode too, not just the self-cleaning. I’ve only had mine for a couple weeks so I’m not totally sure yet.
Emma ReadsMemberI think people overthink pillow height a bit. If you’re used to a flat one it’ll feel different at first but you get used to it.

Emma ReadsMemberI don’t have personal experience with the ice hardening thing, but from what I’ve read it does seem to help keep the edge a bit longer than standard blades. For daily cooking you’d still probably want to touch it up every couple months, but that’s normal for most knives in this range. I know a couple people who use theirs as a go-to and they’ve been happy with how it holds up over time.

Emma ReadsMemberI picked up a pair mostly for the headlights and they do help with those, but I honestly didn’t notice much difference with the streetlights. They’re still pretty bright to me, just maybe a tiny bit less harsh. Still, I think they’re worth it for the overall comfort on a long night drive.

Emma ReadsMemberI just plug mine in whenever I remember and it’s never been an issue for me. The battery lasts long enough that I don’t feel like I’m constantly charging it. It’s one of those things that works fine if you don’t overthink it.

Emma ReadsMemberI think it depends a bit on how lazy you want to be, honestly. I started with just the app and it was fine for the first few lights, but once I had more than three it did get a bit annoying having to open my phone every time. But for one lamp from the couch, you’re probably fine just sticking with what you have for now.

Emma ReadsMemberThanks everyone for chiming in! I’ve been using mine for a few days now and honestly, it’s been fine for my needs. I just charge it overnight and don’t stress too much about the exact hours. Appreciate the reassurance!

Emma ReadsMemberHonestly I think people overthink the cooling thing. It’s not like it’s actively cold or anything, but I never felt like it was trapping heat the way my old foam pillow did. Works fine for me.
