That pause is just the compressor doing its thing, it’s not a malfunction. Mine does it too and I barely notice it anymore. As long as it’s still blowing cool air when it kicks back on, you’re good to go. It hasn’t caused me any issues overnight.
I run mine in my office for a few hours each morning and I do think the air gets a bit drier than I’d like, but I’m not sure it’s worse than any other heater I’ve owned. I’ve had the same scratchy throat thing happen with space heaters in the past, so it didn’t really stand out to me as a problem with this one specifically.
I’ve just been keeping a lotion on my desk and that’s been enough for me. I also crack the window a tiny bit if I’m in there for a long stretch, which helps more than anything. I wouldn’t say it’s overly dry or anything, just about what you’d expect from a heater running in a small room.
I feel like it depends a bit on how snug you like your earbuds. I prefer mine to sit pretty loose, so after a while I do notice them shifting around a little. Not heavy exactly, just not as secure feeling.
I’d say give it another week or so to see how it settles. Mine was fine after the first few charges and now I charge it every couple of days without thinking about it.
I think it depends on how narrow your chain really is. I used mine on a small saw and it worked okay, but it wasn’t a super tight fit. Maybe check the specs on your chain model first.
I just use mine for the light mostly, the mosquito part is a bonus if it helps at all. Battery lasts long enough for a weekend trip which is nice.
Wiring age probably doesn’t matter much with these things. I’ve got old wiring in my place too and it’s been running fine for a couple months now. No issues at all, seems to do what it says.
I don’t think the motor hum would be that noticeable during dinner. It’s probably less startling than a cork popping.

Boost mode definitely drains it faster. I just leave mine on Everyday and it lasts closer to the claimed time.
Honestly, I think they work great for me. Haven’t had any issues with signs looking weird in the sun they just seem clearer.
Good to know others have seen a bit of a difference too. I’ll just keep the thing plugged in and not overthink it.
That’s kind of how it goes with these multi port chargers. I’ve got one and it’s fine for topping up but I wouldn’t rely on it for a super fast full charge on a laptop.
I just set mine to block out a streetlamp reflection and it worked fine, so the zones are decent enough for bigger things. For a thin branch moving around though, I could see it being tricky since the box shape might not match perfectly. Might be worth trying a slightly bigger zone around the branch to see if it still catches the driveway.
I’ve wondered about that too actually. The access point mode should be universal, so I’d be surprised if it needed a specific router brand to work. I’d probably still check the manual just to be safe.
I always just dry my wool stuff on the lowest setting and it’s been fine so far. No shrinking issues for me, but I wouldn’t leave it on too long.
Huh, I didn’t really think about it for soft water, but the pressure boost alone made it feel like a different shower for me. Works fine as a regular shower head upgrade.
