The overnight battery life is what sold me. I can set it up before bed and it’s still running when my alarm goes off, which is more than I can say for other little fans I’ve had. I don’t overthink the cooling, I just like that it keeps the air from getting stale in my room.

I’d say it’s still worth grabbing one. The passport holder only covers your passport, but the Guardality works across everything in your wallet. I keep mine in my everyday wallet and it covers my cards too, so I’m not just relying on one thing while I’m out and about.

I kind of get why people don’t bother, but I do mine every couple of months just because I like the way it looks when it’s got a bit of a sheen to it. Not saying it needs it, but beech can dry out eventually and start feeling a little rough in the hand. I just wipe it down with some mineral oil on a cloth, leave it for a bit, and wipe off the excess. Takes like two minutes.

If you’re happy with how it feels and looks, I wouldn’t force it. It’s not like the knife stops working if you skip it. I just think it’s one of those things where a tiny bit of effort keeps it from ever becoming an issue. But honestly, unless you’re soaking it or leaving it in the sink, I doubt you’ll notice much difference either way.

I slept on mine through the summer and it stayed way more comfortable than my old foam pillow. It’s not cold to the touch or anything dramatic, but I stopped waking up with that damp, overheated feeling. That alone was enough for me.

Alright, thanks for the input everyone. Sounds like it handles a few hours fine as long as it’s not trapped somewhere with no air. I’ll just set it up and not overthink it.

in reply to: Does the MozzDefense charge with any USB-C cable? #6345

Honestly, any USB-C cable should work fine. I’ve used random ones from old phones and stuff without any issues. It’s a pretty standard port, so I wouldn’t stress about keeping track of the one it came with.

I haven’t used mine on glass yet, but it seems like it would be fine with the right nozzle. I’d probably just test it on a small corner first to be safe.

Good to know they include small tips. Guess I’ll stop worrying about it and just order a pair. Thanks for the replies.

I’d say it works fine from a normal distance. Haven’t noticed any issues with mine.

I just charge mine while I’m having a coffee and it gets me through most small jobs. For a bit of moss and dirt in corners you’ll probably be fine.

I’ve been reading through this and honestly, I think it’s one of those things where you just notice it less after a while, whether the device is doing anything or not. My lights haven’t been acting up much lately either, but I’m not totally convinced it’s not just the weather or something. Either way, I’m not bothered enough to unplug it.

I just use mine with water and it’s fine for my desk. The ice chamber seems like something I’d probably forget to prep in the morning anyway.

I figure if it’s designed for choking emergencies it’s probably got enough pull for the job. Testing it on your hand is kind of like checking if a fire extinguisher sprays. I just keep mine in the cupboard and don’t overthink it.
