20 de September de 2026 at 06:02 in reply to: FitiBeats case battery – does it actually last as long as they claim? #12010
Alex Morgan
MemberI got closer to 38 hours with the case, but I also pop them in and out all day for short calls so that probably eats into it. Still way more than my old ones managed, so I’m not complaining.
18 de September de 2026 at 15:16 in reply to: Does the CoolJet need to be plugged in the whole time? #11745Alex Morgan
MemberI mostly use mine at my desk and just leave the cable plugged into my laptop, so it’s basically a stationary thing for me. Moving it around unplugged isn’t really the point of it in my experience.
17 de September de 2026 at 09:56 in reply to: Does the ResQVac mask feel weird compared to the old red one? #11545Alex Morgan
MemberAppreciate all the input. I actually opened mine up and tried the adult mask on myself for a sec, and it sat fine, so I’m just gonna leave it in the kitchen drawer and not overthink it.
16 de September de 2026 at 20:01 in reply to: Qinux AirdrobeX vs old drying rack: noise difference? #11459Alex Morgan
MemberThe hum is just part of having a fan in there, mine does the same thing and I stopped noticing it after a week or so. What surprised me more is that the clothes actually come out less wrinkled than they did on my old rack. That alone made the noise worth it for me.
10 de September de 2026 at 17:09 in reply to: Does Guardality work if I keep it in my back pocket? #10511Alex Morgan
MemberI’ve had mine in my back pocket for maybe six months now, usually right against my transit pass. The card itself still looks brand new, no warping or anything, and my phone still reads the transit card fine when I pull the wallet out. Body heat hasn’t done anything noticeable.
Alex Morgan
MemberMine lasts longer than I expected honestly, maybe you got a dud.
9 de September de 2026 at 20:10 in reply to: TopCarPlay vs. a wired connection, any difference in sound quality? #10375Alex Morgan
MemberI’ve been running mine for about three weeks now and the music sounds identical to when I had it plugged in. I was half expecting some kind of Bluetooth mush, but it’s just clean and normal. The convenience of not digging for the cable is worth way more than any tiny difference I can’t actually hear.
9 de September de 2026 at 06:19 in reply to: Does Repellio need to be plugged in high up or is any outlet fine? #10274Alex Morgan
MemberI get why you’d think height matters, but these things are pretty forgiving. I’ve got one sitting in a low outlet behind a bookcase and it still seems to do what it’s supposed to for that room. Honestly, walls and big furniture probably block more than the outlet height ever will.
8 de September de 2026 at 07:10 in reply to: Do you use the Glokore Therapy Mask before or after skincare? #10112Alex Morgan
MemberI actually do mine a little differently and it’s been working fine. I put on a really light layer of serum first, let it soak in for a couple minutes, then do the mask. I read somewhere that light can penetrate better when your skin isn’t completely bare, so I tried it and just stuck with it. Not saying it’s scientifically proven or anything, but my skin seems to like it.
The way you’re doing it isn’t wrong though. I think the main thing is just that your face is clean and dry so the mask isn’t sitting on top of oils or leftover grime. I wouldn’t add anything heavy before it though, like a thick moisturizer or oil. That feels like it would block the light more than help.
I also don’t think it matters much which serum you use after. I just do my normal stuff once the 15 minutes are up.
7 de September de 2026 at 21:32 in reply to: Does the CoolJet work okay if you don’t fill it all the way? #10056Alex Morgan
MemberI just fill mine to whatever level and roll with it. Half full still cools fine for me, but I treat the 8 hour thing as a rough guide anyway since I’m usually near a USB port and can top it off if needed.
7 de September de 2026 at 07:32 in reply to: CarbonOne Safe battery backup – how long does it last? #9960Alex Morgan
MemberThe way I look at it, the backup battery is for the sensors, not for you. Once the power goes out, that screen is going dark to save every bit of juice for the actual detecting part. You’re not going to be standing there watching the numbers tick up or down in the dark. That’s just not what it’s for.
For me, that trade-off is fine. If the power is out and something is leaking, I don’t need to see the reading on a screen. I need the thing to yell at me so I can get out or shut off the gas. The alarm is the part that matters in that situation. I’d rather have it beeping for as long as possible than have a pretty display that kills the battery in an hour.
I will say, it does feel a bit weird not knowing what’s going on if the power is out for a long time. You kinda just have to trust that it’s still working back there in the dark. But honestly, that’s what I bought it for. I wanted something that would keep an eye on things when the house is quiet and dark, not something that would entertain me with readings.
I don’t know the exact hours it’ll last on battery, and I hope I never have to find out the hard way. But the way I see it, a few hours of protection is better than nothing at all if the power goes out while you’re sleeping.
Alex Morgan
MemberI’d actually be more surprised if it didn’t beep.
4 de September de 2026 at 22:23 in reply to: Qinux HydroXeltor on outdoor furniture, is it safe for wood? #9601Alex Morgan
MemberI kept mine well away from the wood for a while for the same reason, but eventually used it on a painted porch railing that was looking grimy. It was fine, but I did notice it lifted a bit of loose paint along an edge that was already peeling. If the bench is in good shape, I would not stress about it too much.
3 de September de 2026 at 03:43 in reply to: Does the Qinux Gravizer come with a case or pouch? #9311Alex Morgan
MemberMine didn’t include any pouch either, just the molded tray inside the shipping box. If you’re planning to mix it in with other tools, I’d grab a small zippered bag or something before you lose those tips. They’re not huge and would definitely disappear in a drawer.
2 de September de 2026 at 14:27 in reply to: Aptofit charging cable, does it have to click in? #9235Alex Morgan
MemberMagnetic chargers like this never really “click” in my experience, they just pull against the contacts. I wouldn’t expect a snap on a watch this size, that’s more of a laptop thing. If it holds steady on the desk it’ll probably be fine on your wrist overnight.
30 de August de 2026 at 04:37 in reply to: TopCarPlay reconnects fine but does it ever forget your phone? #8686Alex Morgan
MemberI actually think it depends on the car more than the adapter. I used mine in a rental for a week and it never missed a beat, but in my own car it takes an extra few seconds sometimes. Never had it fully forget the phone though, even when it takes a bit longer to connect.
What I like is that once it does link up, it stays solid for the whole drive. No mid-trip drops or weird audio hiccups. The startup delay is the only thing I really notice, and honestly that’s fine because I don’t have to plug anything in. I just toss my phone on the passenger seat and it sorts itself out by the time I hit the end of my street.
So I’d say yours might just be having a lazy day. These things seem to have their own personality depending on the head unit they’re plugged into.
29 de August de 2026 at 20:06 in reply to: Earscribe in loud places, does the noise reduction help? #8641Alex Morgan
MemberAirport cafes are probably one of the better noisy spots for it since it’s mostly steady chatter and not sudden loud bangs. I’d say give it a shot, just don’t expect it to catch everything if you’re trying to whisper or talk super fast.
29 de August de 2026 at 16:36 in reply to: Does Repellio work behind furniture or do I need to move things around? #8619Alex Morgan
MemberI just pointed mine toward the open area and left it, seems fine.
29 de August de 2026 at 05:15 in reply to: Does the Qinux Vapoxis work well on bathroom mirrors? #8538Alex Morgan
MemberWorks fine as long as you move fast and don’t stop over the glass.
28 de August de 2026 at 10:14 in reply to: Does the Glokore Therapy Mask work if you only use it once or twice a week? #8419Alex Morgan
MemberYou can definitely get away with twice a week if you’re not expecting dramatic changes.
25 de August de 2026 at 09:16 in reply to: Does the Vanotium really stay odor-free after garlic or fish? #8021Alex Morgan
MemberI just don’t cut anything super smelly on mine. Like I’ll use the plastic board if I’m dealing with something really strong. I haven’t noticed anything major with the Vanotium, but then again I’m not exactly testing it hard either.
25 de August de 2026 at 01:08 in reply to: Qinux Zindoggo safe zone vs old fence setting, how exact is it? #7965Alex Morgan
MemberThat pretty much settles it for me, thanks everyone.
Alex Morgan
MemberI think it depends on how long you’re planning to run it. Bucket mode is fine for a quick rinse or knocking dirt off something, but if you’re doing a full wash you’ll be refilling more often than you’d think. The suction is there, it just doesn’t like running dry for long.
22 de August de 2026 at 16:08 in reply to: Does the Black Falcon Drone need a phone for the camera to work? #7727Alex Morgan
MemberThe phone isn’t strictly required, but I wouldn’t want to fly without it. You can record to the SD card fine, but lining up shots blind is a pain. I’d say just plan on using the app.
22 de August de 2026 at 10:59 in reply to: Ozoori placement in a small fridge, any spots that work better? #7663Alex Morgan
MemberI just kept mine on the top shelf tucked behind the milk and it’s been fine. I can’t tell if it’s doing much for smells since I clean the fridge pretty often anyway, but it doesn’t get in the way and that’s all I really wanted. I don’t think placement matters that much in a smaller fridge.
14 de August de 2026 at 15:44 in reply to: Glokore Filtered Showerhead – anyone else notice a difference in water feel? #7159Alex Morgan
MemberI didn’t notice any difference at all, honestly.
