I think the real issue is finding one that’s deep enough. I tried a random one from my closet and it fit, but the fabric was so tight over the wings it kind of flattened the shape. A stretchy cotton case made a big difference for me, so I’d look for that over a specific size.
I think it depends on how much patience you have honestly. For a 6 year old it does the job but I wouldn’t say it’s totally foolproof. My nephew used mine once and I still had to hold his hand steady the whole time. It’s slower than clippers but at least nobody cried.
I think at 20kg you’re probably right in the sweet spot for it. My neighbor has one on a dog around that size and it looks like there’s plenty of adjustment left on the strap. The receiver is pretty lightweight too, so I doubt he’ll even notice it after a few minutes. If anything I’d say the fit is more forgiving than some other collars I’ve seen.
I’d say don’t stress too much about it. USB-C is pretty universal at this point, and I’ve used the cable from my phone charger on this thing without any drama. The only time I’ve ever had issues with USB-C stuff is when the cable itself is super old or damaged, but any normal one should be fine.
That said, I get the worry because some devices are weirdly picky, but this one seems pretty standard. I’ve even left the included cable at home before and just grabbed whatever was in my bag. It charged up fine, just took a bit longer than I expected maybe. Nothing crazy.
I think you’ll be okay using whatever you’ve got lying around. If you’re really worried, maybe keep the original one in your travel bag just in case, but I wouldn’t go out and buy a special cable or anything.
I switched from the spray to PestVault a while back, mostly because I got tired of having to reapply the peppermint stuff every couple of days. The pouches are way more set-and-forget for me. I just tuck one behind the fridge and another under the sink and I don’t really think about them until I get the reminder to swap them out.
The scent is a bit different though, I think. The spray was pretty sharp and minty, but the pouch smells softer, almost like a sachet. Doesn’t hit you in the face when you walk in, which I actually prefer.
I still use the spray occasionally for a quick blast around a crack or gap I notice, but for the regular day-to-day thing, I’d rather just drop a pouch and move on with my life.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Mine did the same thing the first handful of times I used the heat, and it just went away on its own. New elements always seem to have that little burnt dust phase.
I think I usually just eyeball it and stop when it feels like enough, which is probably not the most precise way to do it. Some days I go shorter, some days I let it run longer. I’m not totally sure I notice a big difference either way, but I haven’t had any issues so far.
I feel like these strap things are always a bit of a gamble until you actually put one on. Even if it shifts a little, I think it’d still be doing its job while you’re typing away. A slight adjustment every now and then isnt the end of the world for me.
I’ve had mine on for a few hours before and they didn’t feel heavy to me. They just kind of sit there without much fuss. I think if you’re mainly talking on calls you’ll be fine, I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
I just use mine with cold water and it’s enough to feel a difference right in front of me. I wouldn’t say it’s a gimmick, but I also wouldn’t expect it to cool the whole cubicle. Mostly I like having it for the little bit of airflow when the office AC is being stubborn.
Interesting question. I haven’t really thought about wiring age mattering that much for something like this. It’s just a box that plugs in and lights up, so I’d guess it does its thing regardless.
Funny enough, I actually find the pop from the rabbit style kind of satisfying too, but I can see how it’d get annoying if you’re opening a few bottles in a row. The WineCork Pro motor hum is pretty low-key, I wouldn’t worry about it bothering anyone at dinner unless you’re dead silent.
I’ve had it handle switching pretty well in my experience, but I think it depends a bit on how clear the person’s voice is when they switch. One of my coworkers likes to throw in random French phrases and it usually catches them, though there’s been a couple times it just stayed silent for a second. Not a huge deal for us though, still gets the job done.
I think it leans more anti-aging honestly, but I’ve been using the blue light setting for breakouts and it seems to calm things down a bit. Not totally sure if it’s doing much for active acne though.
Honestly, I wouldn’t overthink it. Mine sits in a spot that only gets maybe an hour and a half of direct sun in the late afternoon and it’s been working just fine through the whole night.
I think that initial firmness is pretty normal for memory foam pillows like this. Mine felt a bit like a brick the first night but loosened up just enough to be comfortable after a few days. If you’re a side sleeper it might actually work out better once you give it a chance.
