Okay so I’ve been using my MixMate for a few weeks now and I’m loving it for my morning matcha, but I’m curious how often other people find themselves swapping out the batteries? I know it’s not rechargeable, which is fine, but I’m just wondering if the batteries last longer if you only use it for one drink a day or if it drains pretty quick even with light use. I’ve only changed mine once so far, but I’m still figuring out the rhythm of it.

I’ve had mine for about two months and only swapped batteries once. I use it for a protein shake every morning, sometimes a second drink later. The battery drain seems super gradual, not like it dies all of a sudden. Light use definitely stretches it out, but even regular use has been fine for me.

Mine have been in since I got it and I use it for hot chocolate most evenings, sometimes twice if I’m lounging around. I honestly forget it runs on batteries until something like this comes up. I’d say just keep an eye on it and swap when the stirring starts sounding a bit slower or weaker.

I’m the odd one out here I guess. I use mine for pre-workout most days and I’ve already gone through two sets of batteries in about three weeks. Doesn’t seem to matter if I only do one drink a day, it just drains. Still like the mug though.

The low-use assumption doesn’t really hold up for me. I only use mine for an evening drink and I’m already on the second set of batteries. Maybe I got a dud, but light use didn’t magically make them last forever. The stirring part is fine, but the power draw seems a bit random to me.

I’m not seeing the long battery life others are talking about. I use mine maybe once a day for a quick coffee mix and I’ve already swapped batteries twice in a month. Not heavy use at all, just one drink and then it sits on my desk. The stirring itself seems to chew through them more than I expected. Mine definitely depends on the week honestly. Some weeks I make two drinks a day in it and other weeks it sits on my counter for a few days untouched. I swapped mine once in the first month and then it went ages before needing the second set. I just assume the stirring motor is the only thing eating power so it makes sense that lighter use stretches it out.

Depends what you’re mixing honestly. I use mine for protein shakes after the gym and I’m already on my second set of batteries after about two weeks. The thicker stuff seems to make the stirrer work harder. Light matcha use probably won’t drain them as fast but I wouldn’t count on it lasting forever.

Honestly, battery drain seems tied to how long the stirrer actually runs, not just how many drinks you make. I do a thick hot chocolate most nights and those batteries go quicker than I expected. One set lasted me about three weeks, which is fine, I guess, just not amazing.
