MemberSo I’ve been using the Qinux Vibrathea for a couple of months now and I’m wondering if anyone else noticed the battery not lasting as long as it used to? I charge it maybe every two or three sessions now, which is fine, but I’m just curious if that’s normal for this kind of device. Not a big deal or anything, just wondering if it’s just me.

MemberMine actually seems to last longer now than when it was new.

MemberBattery drain after a couple months is pretty standard for anything rechargeable. All lithium batteries lose a bit of capacity over time.

MemberI’ve had mine for about three months and I actually haven’t noticed much of a drop yet. I use it maybe four or five times a week and still get a good week or so between charges. Could be that I don’t always use the heat function, which I’m guessing drains more.

MemberI’m at about four months and mine still holds a charge pretty well, honestly.

MemberMine’s been fine too, but I honestly didn’t expect it to stay perfect forever. I just charge it when it dies and don’t really track it. I figure as long as it gets through a few sessions I’m happy.

MemberIt is normal. Lithium batteries start losing capacity right away, even if it’s slow at first. If you’re getting a few sessions per charge after a couple months, that tracks with how these things usually behave. I wouldn’t expect it to stay exactly like day one.

MemberI’m right around the three month mark with mine and I’ve noticed the same thing, but it doesn’t really bother me. I think part of it is that I use the heat function a lot more now than I did at first, and that seems to chew through the battery faster than just the regular pulse modes. The charge itself still holds fine, it just doesn’t stretch as far.
I’ve also noticed the pads don’t stick as well as they used to, so I’m probably re-positioning them more and leaving the unit on longer than I need to. That might be part of it too. I figure if I’m still getting a few full sessions out of a charge after a couple months, that’s good enough for me. These little devices all do this eventually. I wouldn’t call it a problem yet.

Tom in NYCMemberBattery loss after a few months is just physics, not a defect. I’m at the point where I don’t even track it anymore, I just toss it on the charger when the low light blinks. Honestly, as long as I get a few sessions out of a charge I’m fine with it. I’d rather have the compact size than a battery brick that lasts three weeks.

MemberHonestly I think a little drop is pretty much unavoidable with anything rechargeable, but I’ve also noticed something else with mine that made me wonder if it’s the battery or just how I’m using it. I tend to crank the intensity up pretty high and use the heat function almost every time, which I assume drains it faster. So part of me thinks my shorter battery life is kind of self-inflicted, you know?
I’ve had mine for around two and a half months now and I’d say I get maybe three or four sessions out of a charge. At first I felt like it lasted closer to five or six, but I also wasn’t using the heat as much back then. I just figured the higher settings pull more power, so it’s hard for me to tell if it’s actually degrading or if I just changed my habits without realizing it.
I don’t track it super carefully or anything. I just plug it in when the low battery indicator shows up and move on with my day. It charges pretty fast anyway, so even if it is losing a little capacity, it hasn’t really annoyed me yet. I guess I’ll only start caring if it gets to the point where I can’t finish a full session on one charge. That would actually bug me.

MemberI’ve had mine since around February and I’m still getting a solid week out of a charge with daily 15 minute sessions. That said, I rarely use the heat setting, and I’d guess that’s the biggest battery drain on these things. If you’re using heat every time, that would explain the drop more than normal wear.

MemberMine actually died mid-session last week, which never happened before.

MemberBattery life is the least of the issues with this thing.

Laura CheckMemberI noticed mine holds a charge a little shorter now too, but I’m also someone who mostly uses it without the heat function. I feel like the heat drains it way faster than the regular pulses, so maybe that’s part of it depending on how you use it.

MemberBattery drop after a couple months is pretty standard for anything rechargeable, especially if you’re using the heat mode. I’m more annoyed that the pads lose stickiness way before the battery becomes an issue. I’d take shorter battery life over having to replace those things every few weeks.

MemberMine’s actually been fine so far. Still getting through a good number of sessions before I have to plug it in, and I’ve had it since spring. Maybe I just got lucky with the unit, but I haven’t noticed any big drop-off yet.

MemberI still get a week or more out of mine and I’ve had it since last winter. I do keep the heat off most of the time though, so that might be why mine hasn’t dropped off as much.
27 de August de 2026 at 09:10 #8254Kuzela
MemberMine started dropping off around the three month mark too, but I also use the heat setting almost every time. I figure that pulls more power, so it kind of makes sense. It still gets me through a solid week of daily use before I need to find the charger, so I’m not complaining.

MemberBattery drop after a few months is pretty much expected with anything rechargeable, in my experience. Mine’s not as good as day one either, but it still gets me through the week with normal use. I just plug it in when I notice the intensity feeling weaker mid-session.

MemberGood to know it’s not just me, guess that’s just how these things go.
