Been using the DrFlexa for a few weeks now, mostly on long walks. It does the job, but I’m wondering if anyone else finds it gets a bit warm after wearing it for several hours. Not a dealbreaker, just curious if it’s normal.

Mine gets noticeably warm too, especially around the straps after a full day. I just figure it’s the material doing its thing, and it’s never bothered me enough to take it off early. Seems pretty normal for this kind of brace.

Mine does the same thing after a few hours, but I figured that was just par for the course with this type of material. I wear mine mostly around the house and for shorter errands, so it doesn’t bother me much. As long as it’s not causing any skin irritation, I wouldn’t let it worry you.

I get the same thing on mine after wearing it most of the day, especially near the back of my knee. I just figured the heat builds up when you’re moving around a lot. It’s never been uncomfortable enough for me to take it off early though.

I’ve noticed the same thing with mine, but it’s never really bothered me. I mostly wear it when I’m doing yard work or on my feet for a few hours at a time, and yeah, you can definitely feel some warmth building up around the sides after a while. I just assumed it comes with the territory when you’ve got that much material wrapped around your knee, especially if you’re moving around a lot.

What I did find is that it doesn’t get as hot as some other braces I’ve tried in the past. The open area around the kneecap seems to help a bit. It’s more of a cozy, snug warmth than a sweaty, uncomfortable one, if that makes sense. I’ve worn it through a full day of running errands and by the end it’s warm, but not to the point where I’m desperate to rip it off. Seems pretty normal to me.

Honestly mine doesn’t really get warm, and I’ve worn it for full work days where I’m on my feet a lot. Maybe I just run cold or my leg isn’t as sensitive to it, but I’ve never noticed any heat buildup. I guess it depends on the person.

Mine gets warm too, but I honestly never thought twice about it. I wear mine around the house and while running errands, and it’s never bothered me enough to stop using it. It just feels like normal body heat building up under any kind of brace, not something weird.

It’s just neoprene, so yeah, it traps heat. I wouldn’t expect it to feel like nothing after hours of wear. I only use mine when I’m actually moving around, so the warmth never really gets a chance to build up into something annoying.

I think it depends a lot on what you’re doing while wearing it. I’ve had mine on for full shifts at work where I’m mostly standing behind a counter, and it stays fine. But if I’m actually moving around a lot, walking outside in the heat, doing stairs, stuff like that, yeah it definitely gets warmer. That’s just how it goes with any kind of support like this though. It’s not like it’s actively heating up, it’s just your own body heat getting trapped in there.

I wouldn’t call it uncomfortable, more like noticeable. I can feel it when I take it off at the end of the day, like my knee was in a cozy blanket all day or something. To me that’s kind of the tradeoff for the support. If it was completely breathable and cool all day, I’d probably wonder if it was actually doing anything.

Mine gets warm too, but it goes away once I take it off. I mostly wear it on shorter outings so it never really has time to bother me. Seems like a fair trade for the support it gives.

I’ve worn mine through some pretty long days and honestly I don’t notice it getting especially warm. Maybe I just don’t run hot or my knee is used to it, but it hasn’t been an issue for me. It’s not like it’s freezing, but I wouldn’t call it uncomfortable either.

I’ve had mine on for 10+ hour days before and I never really noticed it feeling warm. Maybe I just run cold or something, but it’s never been an issue for me. I actually forget I’m wearing it half the time.

I’m actually surprised so many people are saying theirs runs warm. I’ve had mine on for full workdays, like eight to nine hours, and I barely notice it temperature-wise. I do tend to run cold, so maybe that’s part of it. But I specifically picked this one over a heavier brace because I hate that sweaty feeling. I’ve worn it in warmer weather too, and while it’s not like wearing nothing, it’s never gotten uncomfortable. I’d rather have it feel slightly warm than slip around or bunch up, which has been my problem with other brands. I guess it just depends on the person.
