I think it’ll probably be fine. These cards are pretty thin, so unless your cardholder is already stretched to the max, you likely won’t notice much difference. I’d just give it a try.
Honestly, I’d just set it on the table and see if it works first. I tried mounting mine high up and didn’t notice enough difference to bother with the wall again.
I tried it once and honestly couldn’t tell if it made a real difference. I think people overthink it.
I only tried the wall mount because I didn’t have a good shelf spot for it. Worked fine for me, but I honestly didn’t compare it to anything else.
I’d say you’re fine for a couple grills on high. I use mine like that and it’s never quit on me before I’m done cleaning.
I haven’t really tested the zones super carefully, but I blocked out a spot where my neighbor’s security light was hitting and it hasn’t triggered since. Seems to handle that kind of thing well enough.
Should work fine. Access point mode is pretty standard, it just turns the RE700X into a wired access point so any router will hand off internet to it without issue.

I haven’t tested mine in a bag yet either. I’d assume it’s probably fine though, these things are usually louder than you expect.
I figure most knives in that price range aren’t going to stay razor sharp for months on end, ice hardening or not. If you’re cooking every night, probably just expect to give it a quick touch up every few weeks and you’ll be fine.
The tilt on mine holds fine on a desk, I wouldn’t overthink it. If it bugs you, just shove a coaster under the front, but honestly for blowing air upwards it does the job without sliding around for me.
I think they help a bit with the streetlights, but the bigger difference for me was how much less eye strain I felt after a long drive. I didn’t notice it at first, just felt less tired getting out of the car.

I think it depends on what you’re expecting. In a humid room it’s not going to feel like real AC, but if you sit close to it with ice water it does make the air feel a bit less stuffy. I’ve used mine on my desk and it’s more about a gentle cool breeze than actually dropping the room temp. Not a miracle worker but it’s not useless either.
Honestly, I think having one in each bedroom and the hallway is probably enough for most houses. I’ve got them in the hallways and near the kitchen, and that feels fine for my place, but I can see why people add more if they have kids or something. It’s one of those things where you hope you never need them, so it’s hard to tell if it’s overkill until it’s not.
