Got a WellHeater for my desk — heats up the room in minutes and is super quiet, so thumbs up there. The remote is way too small though and the buttons are mushy, I keep hitting the wrong setting. Would be nice if it had a magnet or little dock. Not a huge deal but kinda irritating when I’m mid-coffee.

Tiny remote, sure, but not a dealbreaker for me. I rarely use it and the touch controls on the heater work fine. Heater heats fast and quiet so the small remote just feels nitpicky.

Seems fine to me, not a big deal overall. I get that a tiny, mushy remote is irritating for some folks, but it feels like a minor design slip rather than something that ruins the heater, so easy to shrug off tbh.

Totally agree, that tiny mushy remote feels like they skimped on the small stuff for an otherwise handy heater. A magnetic back or little dock would be an obvious, cheap quality-of-life add.

Yeah the remote is annoyingly tiny and mushy. I just drop it in a small dish on my desk so it doesn’t disappear and I don’t mash the wrong buttons, I think.

I get the gripe about the tiny, mushy remote, but it feels a bit overblown to call it a dealbreaker. Still, a magnet or little dock would be a welcome tweak.

the remote is tiny and the buttons are mushy, but it barely bugs me compared to how quickly the heater warms the room. I just leave it nearby and tap it when I need to change settings, not enough to bother returning.

Thanks everyone, I think I’ll just keep the remote in a little tray on my desk and live with the squishy buttons since the heater actually works great. Maybe I’ll pick up a magnet later if it keeps annoying me, but not worth fussing over right now.

The remote is small and the buttons feel weird, I’ll give you that. But honestly, it does the job for me since I mostly just use the touchscreen on the unit itself anyway.

Honestly, I barely touch the remote on mine. I mostly just use the touchscreen controls since it’s sitting right there on my desk anyway.
